“Stayed here visiting family over Thanksgiving. We stayed in a queen 1 bedroom suite. Overall the room was decent. Can tell it's an older hotel that was remodeled. Nice to have a fridge, didn't use the other kitchen amenities. Bed was decently comfortable.
The tub looked like it had some stains in the bottom of it and it looked like a wine stain (I hope that's all it was) on the floor in the bedroom. Also appreciate that it's pet friendly. Breakfast had good variety- more than just the usual assortment of pastries at other places. Hot breakfast items, cereal, yogurt, bagels and such. (Must have been better than what was across the street because my husband saw people from the hotel across the street walk over and help themselves to plates of breakfast food and walk back to their hotel)
The biggest annoyance was I had called 2 days before our arrival that we needed a pack and play as we were traveling with our toddler and the nice girl in reception said she added it to our folio so it was noted prior to our arrival. We did the mobile check in prior to arrival but when we got there- no pack and play available.
We ended up having to use the pull out couch bed which looked out of place in the remodeled room. Like it had been picked up at a second hand store and the cushions vacuumed. Thankfully my husband was able to make a kind of soft enclosure for our very roly poly toddler using pillows and blankets but it was definitely sketch. The original sheets looked unwashed and the mattress itself was awful. We requested extra, clean sheets because we couldn't trust what was on the bed. We made due, but it was definitely frustrating.
Overall, it did what we needed but nothing wow. We will probably explore another option the next time we are in Salem.”

“The shower curtain smelled like old dirty laundry. The bathroom vent needs to be cleaned. At first we thought the girl up front was being rude, until we realized she was on a good one. Going back to Salem next month, I won't be staying here.”

Amber at the front desk is amazing! 5-star customer service! Our schedule changed due to an event at the fairgrounds and she was wonderful in working with us and offering different options. Nice amenities, cozy fireplace on a rainy day (my husband wants to go down and sit by the fire and read) Perfect location for us and exactly what we needed. Will definitely stay here again when we are in Salem!

Came here after my mom's surgery, and they helped so much. They moved us to a closer room so she didn't have to walk as far, and when I locked myself out and didn't want my mom to get up to let me in (because of said surgery), they came and gave me a key. Helped show my mom how to use the TV, gave us extra bags because my mom was throwing up. Honestly could have been a pretty bad experience if I took my mom somewhere else but everyone here was on top of it, and helped as they could. If anybody from there sees this, thank you! My family appreated it!!!

We ended up having to stay 2 full weeks. It was awesome. The pool and fitness room were amazing. Anytime we had a question, the people at the front desk were more than happy to help.

Great hotel. Front desk staff is very helpful. Located close to the highway. Rooms are loud on the highway side, but I got used to it after a bit. Iâd stay here again if I was in the area...
