Muy buen lugar , se vienen recuperando post pandemia .Va a mejorar sin dudas

Muy a gusto el hotel. Es una muy buena opción para pasar unos días desconectado y descansando. O si quieres hacer actividades también tiene buenas alternativas para todos los miembros de la familia. Desde niños, hasta adulto mayores. Los restaurantes también son buenos, en algunos hay que hacer reservacion con anticipación pero es mejor para tener un mayor control. El recorrido en bicicleta está bastante bueno, la chica explica muy bien y en general la atención es muy buena. El paseo en el bote por el río muy bonito, con vino espumoso incluido. Paco todo un experto en el manejo del mismo y para hacernos pasar por los manglares

We had a really nice vacation here! We took 2 guided Eco walks around the resort and they both were excellent! Carolina took us on an amazing walk to the Mayan ruins on the property. Jaid took us on a photo safari and we saw small animals, deer, and even a family of monkeys! It’s a vacation we’ll long remember!

Excelente servicio del personal, destacó que en todo momento traían su cubrebocas. Viridiana excelente servicio en el buffet y también Oliver. Punto negativo: la comida del buffet no es muy buena pero tampoco no es que no sea pasable y Andrés del cenote poco paciente y muy poco tacto para pedir las cosas.

Hi just want to say all the staff and entertainment are amazing! We visited for a week and they went above and beyond to make sure we were having a good time during our stay. I'd like to also say Andres at the Cenote was exceptional!! The resort is absolutely amazing

They are great people that keep all your needs up to how you’d like. They always have things for us to do and you do not have to drive to a single place. The people have great attitudes and they speak English and Spanish which I’ve seen that is very helpful in many cases. I enjoyed my stay so far and it’s not even over, I might not even have enough time to do it all they have to offer watch makes me sad but I’m definitely coming back there is no way I’m not! They have things from yoga, aerobics, private boat rides, water park, entertainment shows, so many cool animals and they have about anything you could need to have and even more! I definitely recommend coming!

Muy buen Resort ecológico. Imagina poder caminar a tu cuarto y qué te visite una familia de coatis. Excelente el show de Tepanyaki. Y por lo demás está bien el hotel. La playa es rocosa, no es un gran atractivo y por pandemia cuesta trabajo reservar en sus 7 restaurantes de especialidades. Los cenotes y el esnorquel en el manglar es sin duda una actividad que debes hacer.

El hotel está muy bonito, la pasamos muy bien, el convivir con la naturaleza estuvo genial. La atención fue buena, hubo algunos detalles que por la contingencia se comprenden pero en general estuvo excelente. La atención del personal muy bien. Esta muy limitado por el tema de la pandemia perome gusto es mi 2da vez que lo visito pero siento que le falta mantenimiento e igual siento que es debido al.tema de la pandemia pero el personal muy amable y los chicos de animacion excelente en especial "camilo" :)

Comida gostosa, muitas atividades dentro do resort, todas excelentes. Nosso filho de 5 anos aoroveitou muito.

Estou muito contente com o serviço de todos.Aqui na piscina infantil e nos tobogãs todos muito gentis. Em especial o amigo Carlos é minha amiga Yamiket que também é muito gentil Bjs a todos do Sandos.

Segunda vez que nos hospedamos aquí, todos son muy amables y serviciales. Las actividades nocturnas son geniales y siguen con los protocolos Covid.

Wonderful experience! A beautiful and expansive resort. Very well managed, impeccably clean, and friendliest staff. Covid protocols were really well established and followed with care. Food was excellent - especially the main buffet! A special thank you to Karina the buffet manager- we had to leave one of our restaurant reservations because of a food allergy (we should have known better!), and Karina heard about it and special ordered us the desserts from the restaurant we had missed and brought them to us at the buffet. Such a kind gesture and really made our last night here special! Highly recommend Sandos - we will be back!

Me and my partner came here April 2018! It was the most amazing holiday ever. Great for kids. Very romantic. And great for couples! There is so many things to do on this resort but great things to do outside of the resort also. We were in the adults only area and it was so relaxing and amazing service. The staff are amazing and entertainment was great. We are defiantly going to come here again hopefully next year!!!

The staff went over and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The first room we got was not what we wanted but the manager was kind enough to give an upgrade and it was excellent. The buffet and all the other restaurants were marvellous. I would recommend El Tempo for some quality oriental food selection. Many thanks to our waitress, Julia, she was amazing. Overall, we had a swell time and hope to visit again soon.

I stayed at Sandos Caracol with one other friend for 5 nights in late August 2021. The resort is extremely beautiful with nature completely surrounding you! The entire staff was very welcoming, friendly, and abided by all COVID precautions. Specifically, concierge, Celia and Juan, helped us so much with informing what type of activities to do, the different places to eat, and various entertainment we could watch around the resort! We also did 3 different excursions separate from the hotel and concierge seamlessly helped us reorganize one of the excursions. The room was clean, air conditioned, had a water dispenser, and was perfect for what we needed for our whole trip! We did have a small ceiling leak after it rained one day, but it was fixed within the next day. I would absolutely recommend Sandos to anyone who is staying in Playa del Carmen!

Staff service is amazing and they go above and beyond from the very beginning. We had adult only wristbands and werehelped by CARLOS to make the restaurant reservations for dinner and he gave us important need to know facts about the Resort. We did breakfast and lunch at the Riviera restaurant which was amazingly delicious, Kudos to the Chef. Our servers at the Riviera were VIRGINIA and KARINA, they both made our meal times very pleasant, they were super attentive, and although they had a mask, we knew they had a big smile. The adult only side was very nice because we were on a vacation without our kids and were able to spend quality couple time.ADRIANA CASTILLO who overlooked restaurants in the evening was a big help, always attentive and very friendly. I can say, we saw Adriana making her rounds at every restaurant we ate in the evening, she was always making sure everything was running smoothly. We ate dinner at the Mascaras Restaurant were we had a server name ADRIAN(young man) who made sure we were satisfy with the dishes we ordered. We had a mini impromptu photoshoot with a lady name ANDY which was excellent because we made a package purchase. We were able to see all the activities that the resort offered for families which was very alluring because we are parents of 3 children. We met Alex and Maria Jose from Royal Elite and they were very sincere and helpful in finding a perfect vacation package for us. The resort is family friendly, has great customer service and that made our decision to make it our future family vacation spot.

Estivemos em Junho/2021 por uma semana nesse hotel incrível para crianças. Um parque aquático dentro do hotel é o ponto alto, com 7 toboggans para crianças grandes e mais de 10 escorregadores para os pequenos com chafariz e cachoeiras. Um cenote e um rio que se pode conhecer a fauna local dentro do hotel . Fazendinha com porcos, burros, coelhos e patos. Espalhados por todo hotel, muita natureza e muitos pavões e quatis andam como se estivesse em casa. Pode se alugar bicicletas e caiaques. Shows todas as noites com dança e cultura local. Os quartos são bons principalmente as FAMILY SUÍTES. São bem grandes e confortáveis. Café da manhã e almoço estilo buffet com muita opção. Jantar a la Carte com 5 opções de restaurantes diferentes com vários tipos de culinária international que precisam ser agendados. Staff bem preparada e muito atenciosa. O Ian do Parque aquático é sempre muito gentil explicando tudo sobre o hotel. Super recomendo para famílias com crianças.

The jungle and animals were a beautiful addition. Staff was friendly, professional and accommodating. Beach is rocky but there are a few soft sandy spots. Check in was long and difficult. Francisco gave a romantic boat ride through the mangroves. Alex in guest services was phenomenal. Sales team (Lu) were enjoyable and not pushy. We would return. Thank you Mexico for being welcoming.

It’s a beautiful resort that was built into, and around, the wilderness. That’s what really impressed me. They simply didn’t tear down the entire wilderness just to put a resort up by the beach. I was extremely impressed with the work staff and the social distancing protocol that was implemented at this resort. They really had it down pat and are doing a much better job than many places here in the U.S. Even though this resort offers all inclusive I would highly recommend to have some dollars/pesos on hand to tip the staff. They are very attentive and work extremely hard. Our concierge, Marco, was fantastic and went above and beyond to secure our dinner reservations and answer all of our questions regarding recommended excursions and visiting the neighboring cities/towns. The trip was extremely relaxing and everything we could’ve asked for. The only negative was that a few areas of the resort seemed to be roped off or in need of a little clean up. This was perfectly understandable, as our visit was a week after Hurricane Delta, which I’m sure caused some havoc.

Love this resort! Just returned from our second visit and can’t wait to go back. Rooms are great for families, food was very good but the best part is the staff. Everyone is so friendly and works extremely hard to take care of the guests. Guadalupe at the pool bar was excellent, Eli and Rosie at the Sports Bar were awesome and the entertainment staff was the best. Kevin, Victoria, Ritchie and Reuben were so much fun, we had a blast with them. Already planning our next vacation.

Just want to drop a quick shout out to the amazing entertainment staff especially Kevin! We had such a fun time and I think that the entertainment crew had so much to do with it. They keep a fun atmosphere with a water aerobics and stretching class and night time dancing at the theater club. My entire family joined in and had a blast. Such dedicated staff and a wonderful vacation. Thanks again Kevin and the rest of crew for making it extra special.

We stayed here for New Years 2020 and it was great for the kids. The activities kept them fairly entertained. We really were not impressed by the food though. The quality could be greatly improved considering the cost of the resort. The BBQ that was available just one day we were there was excellent, we would have had this each day if it was available. The Mexican restaurant was a disappointment along with the chicken nuggets and fries available at the water slides. The Italian restaurant had some good options as for pizza and steak though, but didn’t realize this until the end of our stay. The beach is also not the best but if you don’t mind sharing it with some rock then it’s all good. We also had trouble with our room cleaning. The gentleman doing it was rude and sometimes wouldn’t come and at another time wrote words into the mirror. Very immature and not worthy of a tip or praise. Other than that, it was great. Kids loved it and I think we would be hard pressed to find another place to entertain our children so well. Would be nice to have a discount avail either through the hotel for some of the excursions that are available as well or free transfers to Playa Del Carman or the other Sandos Resort nearby.

Great place for kids - unless they have food allergies. Talking with them before we booked, it seemed like they would be able to accommodate my daughters allergies, but unfortunately she just didn't like the options available (the chicken nuggets and fries were terrible), and most of the food is buffet style - which I don't consider safe for someone with food allergies. We were all pretty bored with the food by the end of the week. But other than that, the place is great!

This hotel is a must if you have children. My kids adored staying here and are still talking about the water slides months later. Our hotel room was nice and extremely clean. My son lost his eyeglasses on this trip and I searched every single nook and cranny in our room for them and was amazed at how I didn't even encounter a dust bunny. One star off because the food was subpar ( but that's been my expectation with most all inclusive resorts) and the kid's club was often at capacity which upset my children. Make sure you go the moment they open after your arrival to register them as registration is only in the mornings.

Gave us a room with mold all over it. Smelled musty, no screens in the room, so you couldn't even have the slider or windows open to try and air it out. When we asked to change the room they said they were fully booked (which was a complete lie) when we went to go checkout (three days early!) they tried to give us non-moldy room. At that point I already booked a much better hotel for less money and wanted to get the heck out of there. Great for families with kids, but if you don't have kids, don't stay here! If you get a room that the couch looks like it's been slept on for 20 years and a moldy room, you've been warned! Then even admitted to having gross rooms that have mold... We wanted to love this place, the beautiful scenery was great, but the rooms were not. There are updated rooms that looked nice from the outside, but we didn't get one of those.

I’ve recently visited this amazing hotel with my friends and I’m so happy we found this place. I will start withe beautiful lobby and of a very nice, friendly and professional receptionist Ekaterina ,who works at a front desk,who have helped us and gave many great advices for our stay and journey. We felt special from the beginning to the end you will feel like you are home. The room was lovely, super clean with most comfortable bed! Bathroom with shower was also very clean and tidy. Beautiful territory with incredible nature, great restaurant and service with a huge variety of food and beverages. Everything was on point! Food, room, pools, bars, restaurants , staff and service was above and beyond. Would recommend everyone who’s searching for a great hotel to choose Eco and when you come to a lobby ask for a girl named Ekaterina if you want to have the most detailed information about your stay.
