“I've been staying here a few times and I think this hotel is in need of very important upgrades. The location is very good, close to Stanford and main scene of Palo Alto. However, the hotel in itself has many areas of improvement.
- The hotel is old and worn down. Carpets and walls have stains and overall feels old.
- Wifi is terrible. Its free and easy to connect to, but speed is so bad that its difficult to run online teams meetings during during many parts of the day.
- Room service is very slow. At 5PM in the afternoon they still had not fixed the room. They went in earlier, ripped up the bed but didn't clean the room. At 5:15 PM, I'm still waiting for the room to be cleaned up.”

“This is an EXCELLENT HOTEL! We have to travel back and forth to Stanford for medical treatment with our Service Dog. The room was very nice, clean and the bathroom was superior with a walk in shower. We have tried several other hotels in the Palo Alto but this is the one we will always book at from now on. The area was safe and there is a huge park across the street. Stanford was only two minutes away for the doctors we needed to see. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel was beautifully landscaped with a wonderful pond running outside several of the rooms.”

Hotel is ok but completely overpriced for the service it is offered. More than 300USD per night and breakfast not included! Rooms are pretty old and fitness room is tiny with just few running belts.
Staff are friendly from reception, housekeeping and bars. Location is great.
Check in and check out very smooth and easy. Breakfast even that you have to pay separated is very good with freshly squeezed juice and fruits, was delicious! I loved it!
Pool area is very nice and is very nice to enjoy or even work in the area.
But as mention, the price is too high for the quality of rooms in my opinion.

The service is fine, the rooms are as good (or bad) as you'd expect. The location is close to some very nice restaurants.
There is obvious room for (cost effective) improvement though. Let's narrow it down to the single simplest,...
Join the civilized world, install a bidet in each room.

Great location and the pool is fantastic for families. The ground floor pool facing rooms are good if you don't mind the noise during the day. It's nice to walk right out your sliding door and hop in the pool 10 feet away. Just be aware of live music and lively families using the pool up until the pool closure time of 10pm. Restaurant pricing was surprisingly reasonable and I found it was way cheaper to buy drinks and food at either the pool restaurant or lobby bar compared to dinging out locally in Palo Alto! A first for me when traveling. The only drawback that keeps this hotel from 5/5 stars is the room noise. I'm not talking about the pool noise which I'd anticipate facing the pool but the walls are paper thin. You can hear normal conversations in the next room over as well as above you. Definitely bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper!
