“I really enjoyed my stay here. The view from my room and from the reception area were both fantastic. Even more impressive, though, was the bathroom. I've never seen such a nice bathroom in my entire life. The bed was also very comfortable and the staff extremely pleasant. Normally I'm disappointed by higher end hotels, but this one blew my mind.”

“Fantastic place to enjoy afternoon tea with a lovely view.
Afternoon tea starts at 1.30pm, but we arrived a little earlier at around 1pm so we could make sure to get a seat with a good view. I'd recommend you do the same. You'll be allowed to sit down, but won't be served generally until 1.30pm.
You're quite a few floors lower than Shanghai tower - but in my opinion, that's a good thing. You get less of the haze and pollution, but can still enjoy a really nice view of the bund and some of the Shanghai skyline.
The selection of savoury and sweets in the afternoon tea menu is great, and is also reasonably priced of about £75 for two people. And you can choose between English tea or Chinese tea. We ended up staying here for a couple of hours in total to enjoy the view, relax, and take some nice photos.
The staff are really nice, friendly. And some were English speaking which helped us. Would highly recommend or you're looking for afternoon tea and want to soak in the Shanghai skyline also.”

Exotic, wild and unique. This hotel is at the top of a very tall skyscraper that is hollowed out in the interior in a sort of pineapple shape. On the outside there is a stainless steel exoskeleton that howled in the wind. The combination of variable circumference interior rings and square terraced outside exoskeleton makes each floor different—hardly your cut-and-paste hotel. Our room had a bathtub nestled into a nook in the building exterior, very exotic. Sort of felt like travelling to the future or being in a sci-fi movie. If you love great architecture, you have to stay at this hotel.
