“We enjoyed our stay at SLS. The pool party is great, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very small and a bit outdated but were fine. The shower water pressure was unbelievably good, pretty much like standing under a waterfall.
We invited 2 other couples to join us and stay here also. We checked in the same time as the 1 other couple. A week before our trip I got an email about upgrading to ocean view for about $50. I selected I was interested if they had availability. When we checked in, she mentioned we got upgraded for free! I thought this was very nice. The other couple that checked in the same time as us also got upgraded. As it turns out, they charged us for the upgrade and did not charge the other couple. So it wasn’t free. I asked the front desk during checkout since we were told it was free, and they said they would investigate and let me know. They never let me know.
