Um, it was a really mid experience. For how fancy it appears from the remnants of The Ritz, you would expect more, but it was just okay. I booked it using my Marriott points and you'd think the stay would largely be free because of that, but they sneak in a "destination fee" whatever that is and it racks up a large amount. Why stay loyal and use points if I'm going to experience highway robbery anyway? I was ok with the overnight parking charge and room service, of course, but tacking on a total of $100 + other fees is so unnecessary and really kind of ruined the end of the trip for me. Especially since clearly those fees aren't being used for upkeep. The biggest plus was the restaurant/bar. The food was great and the service was great. I also want to give a big kudos to the front desk worker who was still working while pregnant. I wish she could have had maternity leave, but y'know, capitalism.

My family and I went to Phx for the Taylor Swift Concert and I had booked our stay December 28, 2022 for 2 queen beds. The day we checked in was the day of the concert, on Friday and so I went early to check in, room wasn’t ready obviously because it was early, but I wanted to be sure we were set because check in time is 4pm and doors to the concert opened at 4:30pm. Where I went wrong is that I did not ask for confirmation of the room we were getting and the front desk personnel did not offer the information either. After the 3 hour concert, we were exhausted and wanted to come to the hotel and just go to bed, however when we got up to our room it was a king bed and not 2 queen beds for 4 adults, needless to say I was confused. Went down to the front desk and asked what was going on and they said my reservation said I requested a king bed, I had to pull up my confirmation email to show that I requested a high floor with 2 queen beds. Apparently there was some sort of system error and my husband ended up sleeping on the floor, I was so upset. I couldn’t sleep, I went down the next morning to speak to the manager, Anthony. He credited us that night, got us into a new room and convinced me not to check out. Although I was disappointed, I appreciate all the amazing customer service we received, from house keeping bringing us extra bedding, and towels several times in the middle of the night to the new employee at the front desk and the manager in the morning. I would stay here again, but just make sure the room I requested is what they see in the system.

This hotel sells itself as FAR fancier than it is. The lobby and restaurant are both very beautiful, but the moment you head up to your room, the appeal is gone. We requested on at least THREE occasions before our stay that we would like a room with a tub, and had it confirmed each time. Only to lug our thing up to the room, and find a only a shower. And only when we went back down to make our request for a fourth time did someone say that our type of room rarely had baths. They were finally able to get us an ADA room with a bath, and sent us on our way without so much as an "I'm sorry". The room had paint smears from painters on the lamp, and drips of paint on the bathroom floor, and instead of using a different door handle for the bathroom, they decided to cut a divot in the doorframe? And after all our fuss for a bath, it didn't even hold water. I feel really bad if someone with needs actually used their ADA room, because it is just not cared for AT ALL. The restaurant inside is also not as fancy as it thinks. The menu is VERY minimal, and the menus are just on loose printer paper that is all wrinkled and spilled on? Everything on the menu is basic. Nothing unique and everything is astronomically priced. Even if everything on the menu was the best is ever had, they aren't worth it, especially the drinks, but the food was mediocre at best. You're much better off going to the MANY restaurants or bars near by, and just writing off the hotel's restaurant entirely. Or, better yet, just pick a different hotel.

We came to stay at the Camby for a gala/charity event. Jared at the valet was incredible. Thank you Jared. The reception was quite cold, however, i was grateful to get into my room early to get settled in. Tried to get champagne glasses at the bar. That was impossible, well if i wanted to wait 30 minutes, I’m sure that could’ve been accomplished. I have a 15 minute wait rule…i chose to use wine glasses. The bartender was busy with a few customers in the bar and a few in the dining room. I think she should be reviewed as a bartender. Whatever, that’s fine. Our event was in one of the ballrooms. HOLY COW! What amazing service! The bartenders were never overwhelmed literally service with a smile. The food was excellent! Where can you go where there are a couple hundred people, and your steak is seasoned to perfection, a perfect medium rare, and your veggies aren’t disgusting and limp?! My daughter had the salmon…again, perfection! The servers were also awesome. The cleanliness of the table after dinner was great! Ok, so we had a credit that we planned on using the next morning in the bar, and watch Detroit/Dallas football. Let’s just say, sticking with my 15 minute rule, it was an epic fail. Asked 3 people to change the station, as no one cared (as I asked before asking for the channel to be changed), that never happened. Never spoken to until we left. We couldn’t even touch the bar because it was so sticky and dirty. My daughter and I were 2/6 sitting at the bar. Again, bartender incredibly overwhelmed. She has no idea how to multi task, nor any customer service skills. My credit was wasted!the bartender did tell us to have a nice day after 15 minutes of not acknowledging us. Back to Jared…he had gotten my car and loaded it up, prior to our bar/breakfast fiasco. OH! The bartender at the pool bar was great. Taking care of several customers at once!

Beautiful and trendy hotel. The unique detail and artwork throughout the property evokes exploration! Excellent customer service from the front desk and restaurant. Comfy beds, impeccably clean rooms and a fantastic spacious gym. Stayed for a three day get away with a friend and loved the area. Close to shops and restaurants and only a quick Uber to all the major downtown Scottsdale attractions. Big thank you to Ryan and Leanna at the front desk for taking care of us.

Os funcionários, especialmente Samantha & John, foram excelentes. Visitamos durante Covid e as necessidades diárias de quartos extras nunca foram um problema e sempre foram feitas com alegria. Quando questionados sobre cervejarias próximas antes de partirmos no dia seguinte, naquela noite chegamos ao nosso quarto com algumas amostras de cervejarias locais. O dia do check-out era muito cedo, e o check-out foi expresso com o manobrista trazendo nosso carro quando chegamos lá embaixo. O quarto era lindamente decorado e excepcionalmente limpo. A área ficava a uma curta caminhada do parque de moda Biltmore e de restaurantes. Posto de gasolina na esquina para reabastecimento fácil para devolução de carro no aeroporto. Altamente recomendar e ansiosos para voltar na próxima viagem.

O melhor hotel indiscutível em que já estive, e eu viajo muito, então isso deve dizer algo. Os quartos são lindos e todo o lugar é tão artístico. Explicamos o que precisávamos a um homem simpático que acho que era o gerente (minha filha estava na área para uma competição de dança) e subimos para o nosso quarto e encontramos um bilhete com um prato de chocolates para nós. Eu nunca vi esse garoto mais animado. Quando ela não estava em sua competição de dança, minha pequena artista começou a tirar fotos com sua câmera e projetar sua futura casa com base neste lindo hotel. Obrigada Camby !!! Com certeza estaremos de volta quando houver outro evento na área !!

The undisputed best hotel I’ve ever been to, and I travel a lot so that should say something. The rooms are beautiful and the whole place is so artistic. We explained what we needed to this one nice man who I think was the manager (my daughter was in the area for a dance competition) and we went up to our room and found a note with a plate of little chocolates for us. I’ve never seen this kid more excited. When she was not at her dance competition, my little artist started taking pics with her camera and designing her future house based on this gorgeous hotel. Thank you Camby!!! We will definitely be back when there’s another event in the area!!

The staff, especially Samantha & John, were excellent. We visited during Covid and extra room needs daily were never an issue and always done happily. When inquired about breweries nearby before we left the next day, that evening we arrived to our room with a few samples from local breweries. Day of check out was very early, and had express check out with the valet bringing our car around when we arrived downstairs. The room was beautifully decorated, & exceptionally clean. The area was within walking distance from Biltmore fashion park, and restaurants. Gas station around the corner for easy refuel for returning car at airport. Highly recommend & look forward to returning on next trip.

Meu parceiro e eu ficamos aqui no Natal e valeu a pena. O hotel usava um Ritz Carlton, e assim que entrei fui gentilmente recebido. Eles me deram uma grande sala em um andar alto. A cama era super confortável e aconchegante e cheirava a limpo. Eu absolutamente AMEI que você pudesse alugar discos para tocar no seu quarto. A localização é fenomenal. Eles estão levando o COVID-19 mais a sério do que outros grandes hotéis da rede. Eu definitivamente ficarei aqui novamente !!!

Mi pareja y yo nos alojamos aquí durante la Navidad, y valió la pena. El hotel utilizaba un Ritz Carlton y, tan pronto como entré, me recibieron amablemente. Me dieron una gran habitación en un piso alto. La cama era muy cómoda y acogedora y olía a limpio. Me ENCANTÓ que pudieras alquilar discos para tocar en tu habitación. La ubicacion es fenomenal. Se están tomando COVID-19 más en serio que otras cadenas de grandes hoteles. ¡Definitivamente me quedaré aquí de nuevo!

My partner and I stayed here over Christmas, and it was absolutely worth it. The hotel used a Ritz Carlton, and as soon as I entered I was graciously welcomed. They gave me a great room on a high floor. The bed was super comfy cozy and it smelled clean. I absolutely LOVED that you could rent records to play in your room. The location is phenomenal. They are taking COVID-19 more seriously than other chain big hotels. I will definitely be staying here again!!!

Prós: ótima localização, bons quartos espaçosos e algumas opções de lugares ao ar livre / relaxantesContras: embora o site diga que o estacionamento está incluído, NÃO é. A única opção é com manobrista, por US $ 40 / dia, ou você precisa estacionar nos estacionamentos pagos ao redor da área, ou arriscar estacionar no shopping do outro lado da rua e ser rebocado. O bar da cobertura está fechado devido ao COVID, e o restaurante no local parecia OK - optamos por usar outras opções.

Pros: Great location, good spacious rooms and quite a few outdoor seating/chilling optionsCons: Even though the website says parking included, it is NOT. The only option is Valet, for $40/day, or you need to park in the paid lots around the area, or risk parking in the mall across the street and getting towed. The rooftop bar is closed due to COVID, and the restaurant on site seemed OK - we chose to use other options.

Pior hotel em que já fiquei. Pago por 2 noites, decidiu ficar apenas uma. O restaurante e o spa do hotel foram fechados.A equipe da recepção foi extremamente rude. Eles tentaram nos dar um quarto com vista para a cidade em um andar baixo, embora nossa reserva claramente declarasse o contrário. Então, não havia ninguém na recepção no horário regular das caminhadas matinais. A melhor coisa sobre esse lugar era o restaurante Flint, ao lado. É um passe difícil, o design interior moderno não pode compensar a falta de decência humana.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Paid for 2 nights, decided to stay only one. Hotel restaurant and spa were closed. Front desk staff were extremely rude. They tried to give us a low floor city view room, even though our reservation clearly stated otherwise. Then there was nobody in the front desk at regular morning hiking hours. Best thing about this place was the restaurant called Flint, next door. It's a hard pass, the modern interior design can't make up for lack of human decency .

Eu amei minha estadia aqui. Quarto era incrível. E banheiro super limpo. O hotel dispõe apenas de estacionamento com manobrista. Se você quiser um estacionamento alternativo, pode ir ao estacionamento do teatro próximo (US $ 16 por dia). Caso contrário, o manobrista é muito bom. A equipe simpática acomodou minha mudança de quarto para um quarto acessível para deficientes físicos para minha mãe. Gostei da minha estadia e definitivamente recomendo o Camby para amigos e familiares.

I loved my stay here. Room was amazing. And super clean bathroom. The hotel has valet parking only. If you want an alternate parking, you can go to the theater parking near by ($16 a day). Otherwise valet is really good. Friendly staff accommodated my room change to a handicap accessible room for my mom. Enjoyed my stay and will definitely recommend the Camby to friends and family.
