“I stayed here with my family and the hotel was lovely. The staff were wonderful especially Goksel who took care of our every need. The breakfast was also of a very high standard.”

“Beautiful building. Palace-style lobby, tastefully decorated and spacious rooms. There was a capsule coffee machine in the room, however they charged 3-4 euros for every capsule used. This seemed weird to us as many 3 and 4 star hotels and even B*Bs offer this facility for no charge. We had a Golden Horn-view room facing the street and it was noisy until midnight (no sound-proof windows, which should be a standard in a 5* hotel in such location). Breakfast was rather sub-standard considering quality and options. We found the fresh juices to be fermented. Breakfast was pretty disorganized, some staff do not understand English, you have to repeat your orders as they tend to forget what you wanted. The manager tried hard though and was very apologetic about the situation but he can't do everything for the badly trained staff he has.”
