I stayed at the Marriott City Centre in Bristol for 3 weeks so take that into account with my review (I had a lot more time to notice the little things). If I’m in Bristol again I would definitely return. The good: the staff are lovely, the exec lounge is usually well appointed, rooms are large for the uk, and the nightly rate is fair. Beds are comfortable, toiletries provided were great, and the park views lovely. Honestly I’m a bit sad to leave because even with the minor issues I’ll outline the staff are super friendly and always worked to help me out when needed. The bad: the carpet is dated and threadbare in places. The kitchen and bar close a bit early for my taste. Check the dishes at breakfast, every few days I’d notice a dirty plate or glass. The ugly: the hotel has a cool terrace, but it’s underutilized. AC in the exec lounge is non existent if it’s super hot.

Our stay here was great. The location is very central and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat in the hotel. Teas and coffees in the room, these were restocked daily. The only thing about this hotel was how dated it is. It is like stepping back into the 90s, which I why I have dropped a star. However, even though the decor is dated, it is very clean. Our room was spacious, with a view over the city. There is also air con which was very welcomed when we were there during the 30 degree heat wave. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Fabulous staff. Super accommodating and friendly when I asked to change rooms a few times (I have a sensitive nose), really late check-out, gave me free drinks at the cafe, stored my bags. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Hotel is in process of upgrading things but it's totally fine. Nice central location

We were lucky enough to get upgraded, and the room we got was lovely. It was a good sized, coffee and tea making facilities. Everything worked as it should. It was clean and tidy, as was the bathroom. The only problem was the wardrobe doors had fallen off thier sliders, however when we reported it, it got fixed. The location of the hotel is great too, shopping to the right, harbour ahead and the old town to the left. Highly recommended.

Excellent! Initially Andrea greeted me and walked outside to flag me down to make sure I did not miss the car park. Really nice friendly chap and well placed front of house. Connor could literally of not gone further out of his way to assist me, a real credit to the team! Very professional and nothing was ever to much trouble. Give that man a promotion! Bar staff very personable. Would never normally leave reviews but having stayed in millions of hotels this one was the best in terms of service levels. Thanks guys.
