“Listen this area is so loud. My room is on the third floor. My profile asks for a room away from the elevator, but I was in the elevator lobby. But the main problem is outside. There are airplanes overhead until late into the night, commuter, trains, coming through, some sort of street car, perhaps but the loudest thing is the trash pick up dumpster is banging during the night both nights. I got no sleep. They have a sewer back up right now which makes the fitness center completely nauseating the three of us in there had to get out. All of the halls and lobby are filled with sewer smell. I would not recommend this hotel. I have white noise apps on my phone. I tried everything, but all three of us staying on the third floor were extremely disappointed by how loud it is. It’s like your windows open. Perhaps new windows would help them with the noise? Planes start early in the morning and go late into the night which obviously airport. Hotels are able to manage near airports with windows better than this. Not recommended. Good things- yes. The restaurant Il Fiornaio was excellent. Staff was very kind to a “confused” homeless lady in socks with bags in the lobby. Valet was quick.”

“The pricing is misleading. Be prepared to add a mandatory $45 for valet parking. There is no near self parking. We checked in in the late afternoon. When we returned after taking our aunt to dinner, we were told there was no parking space for our car. We would have to wait a couple of hours for an event to end before parking might be available. The manager’s first response was to tell us to go to a different hotel. Cute - but not helpful. Beautiful grand old hotel, but disappointing staff.”
