Stayed in the three bedroom residence. At first impression we were very happy, but as we began to explore I was horrified at the living area couch. For a stay at $2k per night, this is unacceptable. I am a lifetime titanium elite member and have stayed in A LOT of Marriott properties. This was the most disappointed I’ve ever been. Check out the pics I attached. The icing on the cake, my wife got food poisoning! Spoke to front desk and they handed me off to the head of security? Never got a call from F & B manager. Guess this person could care less of the level of food handling in his department. Had to finally call the front desk manager at the end of the day to express grief. She was very nice and gave a $500 bill credit. I don’t ever complain at hotels and having traveled as much as I do, don’t make a big deal out of things, but comping a nights stay would have been more in line. Especially considering my poor wife was bed ridden all day and the inability to use the couch. We won’t be back. What a joke.

I booked this resort specifically to have access to the spa. I like to enjoy a nice steam/sauna and to relax. My wife likes to get massages and facials. Upon arrival after our first night I was told by the spa I could not access the facility without having a service. I was told they were fully booked and I couldn’t even pay to access the spa facilities. I’ve never stayed at a luxury resort and been denied access to the spa facilities as a guest on the property. I requested a refund and promptly booked a room at The Sanctuary. I will never stay at this hotel again. I wasn’t even offered a refund or complimentary anything for the inconvenience. I highly recommend never staying here. You can’t even use all the facilities yet pay a premium for access to the grounds?

I couldn’t wait to be wowed by the luxury but I guess I will keep waiting. The grounds are stunning. The entrance is impressive. It goes downhill from there. The lobby has a smell being pumped into it that reminds me of the smell of bowling shoe spray. The rooms are nice but they are a nice Marriott room. I would not go so far as to call it luxury. Luxury doesn’t have chips in the furniture and paint. The lamps aren’t crooked. The bathroom doors close completely. Maybe the golf and tennis make up for it but the room and food DO NOT. $115 for stale chips, super vinegary wings, extremely watery blue cheese. Or how about $50 for a piece of toast. And it irritates me that my mini bar is stocked with Pepsi. Not a Coke anywhere! The staff are extremely nice and prompt so I do give them points for that. Courtney was the BEST server!

We have been coming to Holiday tea at the Phoenician for over 20 years and this is the first time I was truly disappointed in the food. They replaced their egg salad sandwich with a pickled deviled egg that tasted like a shot of apple cider vinegar. They also replaced the roast beef sandwich with a "lobster roll" which tasted like a cheap California roll from a grocery store. Sadly, even the usually delicious chicken salad sandwich was extra salty this time. The least expensive tea service for Holiday tea is $100 plus tea service fee and tax. I expect the same delicious food we have enjoyed for the occasion not what we were served. Bring back the old menu. Everyone in our party was severely disappointed and if this menu remains we will be looking for another team service not only for Holiday tea but for our other afternoon teas throughout the year. Also, do NOT change the tea pots. Stop messing with a good thing and cheapening an expensive experience. I will say the service is impeccable and we love the team at the tea room. Just fix the food!

I booked a facial at the spa. Before it, she used the light and said I needed a hydro facial instead and it would be $70 more. I agreed. Then I went upstairs to wait by the pool for my girlfriends to be done with their treatments. One of the front desk staff cam upstairs to tell me I owed an additional $120 for the service. First, it was very rude. They assumed I was going to ditch the payment when I was sitting peacefully and enjoying my time by the pool. That took all the relaxation out of my trip so I went down to the front desk. They said she "misunderstood" and that I needed to pay not the $470 I was quoted, but rather more like $120. I was vivid. No where has ever treated me so horribly and I will never be back. Also, I'm pretty sure the shoes they gave me to wear had fungus. Save your money and go to a different spa

Ficamos lá por 2 noites e nos divertimos muito. O quarto era limpo e grande o suficiente para duas pessoas relaxarem. A vista da varanda era incrível, especialmente durante o pôr do sol.Havia várias piscinas externas, incluindo a com jacuzzi e estavam quase vazias pela manhã.Os funcionários do hotel e restaurante foram educados e amigáveis.Tentamos dois restaurantes no hotel e as refeições foram bastante satisfatórias. Gostaríamos de voltar novamente.Hotel cinco estrelas em Scottsdale. O quarto era espaçoso e limpo e a vista da varanda era ótima. O hotel tem várias piscinas exteriores, incluindo uma piscina só para adultos com jacuzzi. Nem sempre estava lotado, mas é quase sem tripulação pela manhã, então eu recomendo. Os funcionários foram todos simpáticos e agradáveis, e a comida no restaurante era deliciosa e satisfatória. Além disso, é o hotel que quer ficar se houver uma oportunidade.

Propriedade muito agradável. O serviço é ótimo. Quarto Deluxe com varanda era muito espaçoso, com uma confortável cama king size, amplo espaço no armário, pia dupla, TV grande, bom chuveiro e uma relaxante banheira de hidromassagem.O foyer tem um bar agradável e amplos assentos confortáveis. Há muitos restaurantes no local e algumas lojas legais (embora caras).

Comemorei meu aniversário com minha filha e alguns amigos com um chá inglês. Os sanduíches petite eram saborosos e as sobremesas eram incríveis! A equipe foi excelente cuidando das nossas necessidades. A única coisa que teria melhorado o ambiente era que a música do piano estava muito alta. Todos nós tivemos um tempo maravilhoso e grandes memórias foram feitas.

This was my first time ever in Arizona & I had a great trip! The room I stayed in (deluxe suite) was clean, spacious, and had a comfy bed w/ a Chromecast-enabled TV so I could wind down at night w/ my streaming apps.The entire hotel was very elegant and had a large variety of activities to keep us busy. Everything was clean and well-kept by the employees, all of whom were quite possibly the nicest hotel staff I’ve interacted with (and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels lol.) I want to give a shout-out to the woman who checked us in, Ireland. She was extremely helpful, kind, and personable. (She even gifted my brother and his wife with snacks + a stuffed animal for their 8-month-old baby after mentioning it was their first time traveling as parents.) To whoever is in charge: Ireland needs a raise!

Celebrated my birthday with my daughter and a couple friends with a high English tea. The petite sandwiches were tasty and the desserts were amazing! The staff was excellent looking after our needs. The only thing that would have improved the ambiance was that the piano music was way too loud. All in all we had a wonderful time and a great memories were made.

Very nice property. Service is great. Deluxe room with balcony was very spacious with a comfy king bed, ample closet space, double vanity, large TV, nice shower and a relaxing jacuzzi tub. The foyer has a nice bar and ample comfy seating. There are many restaurants on site and some nice shops (though expensive).

Bela propriedade do deserto. A arrumação foi ótima no 1º dia, mas os dias seguintes não corresponderam às expectativas (fizeram a cama e substituíram as toalhas, mas deixaram os copos sujos). Beautiful desert property. Housekeeping was great on the 1st day but subsequent days didn't live up to expectations (made the bed and replaced towels but left dirty glasses). Pool staff were terrific. I didn't appreciate the unnecessary multiple holds for over $4,000 on my card nor room service calling at 10 PM to say they shouldn't have delivered my salad without a credit card on file.

Na cidade para férias, graças ao U S Bank, empregador de minha esposa. Este lugar é PRIMEIRA CLASSE todo o caminho. As comodidades são tudo o que você esperaria de um resort de alto nível. O campo de golfe é fantástico, há três níveis de piscina, spa, academia, e continua. Ficamos nas villas, privadas, mas perto da ação. As pessoas aqui não poderiam ser mais agradáveis, apesar de tudo, o melhor resort que eu já estive.

Bonito! Bastante caro, mas você obtém tudo o que esperaria. O serviço é incrível! A comida é perfeita. As piscinas são grandes, limpas e não falta nada que você possa precisar. Os quartos são grandes, faltando apenas geladeiras para manter sua cerveja gelada quando está 105 do lado de fora. O bar do resort tem música ao vivo e muito espaço para todos os hóspedes.

Great resort with exceptional service. The facilities are very nice and clean. Whether you're looking to have an active or leisurely getaway, this has everything you'll need. The gym, pools, and tennis courts are well kept and provide really nice views. Being next to Camelback Mountain is also a nice perk. Looking forward to coming back.

Beautiful! Quite expensive but you get everything you would expect. Service is amazing! Food is perfect. Pools are large, clean, and lacking nothing you could need. Rooms are large missing only fridges to keep your beer cold when it's 105 outside. Resort bar has live music and plenty of room for all guests.

In town for a vacation thanks to my wife's employer U S Bank. This place is FIRST CLASS all the way. The amenities are everything you would expect for a top notch resort. The golf course is fantastic, there are three pool levels, a spa, gym, it goes on and on. We stayed in the villas, private but close to the action. The people here couldn't be nicer, all in all the best resort I've ever been to.

Hotel is pretty, waitstaff is nice, grounds and facilities are top notch and food is excellent.However, the hotel did not seem to have a grasp of customer service. First, our room was not ready for 4PM check-in. After waiting 1.25 hrs. it was ready and we rec'd a $100 credit.Mini-bar was completely empty upon arrival. Asked Concierge to arrange tennis during my stay and they handed me a sticky note with the tennis center's extension and told me to call myself and arrange it. Valet ($38/nite) had no charger available for at the main building for our Tesla. We were told we could drive across the resort ourselves to find one in another location. No chairs available in pool area except for the 30 that were available in the "Reserved Area" where they charge $50 per chair and a $50 drink min.Made call to tennis pro shop. No one picked up and it went to voicemail. I left messages and no one returned my call. No water available in lobby, nor coffee in the morning. At $1000 per night I expected more. We didn't even get a chocolate on our pillow or water on our nightstand. Honestly, I've gotten better treatment at far less expensive hotels.When I want to splurge again, I will spend my money elsewhere.

A great resort in Scottsdale! Great drinks! Yesterday Rebekah went above and beyond serving us the tastiest of cocktails and treats! I love the cocktail bar! Great pool , amazing food and just all around a great place to visit or simply come for drinks!

3 nights of luxury! Professional and friendly staff. Kaylee at the front desk helped us find our ideal upgrade room and very helpful at providing us information. The hotel location is perfect, next to camel back mountain and Scottsdale. Amenities are limited (pools and golf only). Rooms were clean and spacious. Tavern and Marketplace have excellent food selection (and coffee!), too bad the Steakhouse was still closed. If I already had an excellent experience with limited amenities/dining options, what more if they are fully operational?! Will definitely comeback and stay here longer!

We stay a couple of nights in an executive room in February, and it was a great experience. Friendly and professional staff will assist you with anything that you needed. They had great amenities and breakfast. Speaking in breakfast well, the breakfast was spectacular. They had all kinds of breakfast, and it was indeed delicious as well. A 5-star rated!

Tea time at the Phoenician is that special treat for my wife. I make the reservation and place it in her google calendar. Not long after a surprise kiss comes back in my direction. Day of the reservation involves getting cleaned up and dressed up. Slacks, nice polo and my Allen Edmond dress shoes. She goes all in. Flowing dress, full makeup and jewels. Hit the Phoenix art museum for a couple hours then it's off to tea time. We arrive to be seated by the professional friendly staff. Choose our teas from the menu. I love the variety of finger sandwiches. Sipping tea and soaking in the atmosphere while pianist plays for our pleasure. When you had your fill of finger sandwiches plating is taken away. Scones arrive on new plates with devonshire cream and choice of jam. Unwinding with your significant other while viewing the beautiful landscaping through floor to ceiling windows. Then the plates are removed again while deserts are brought to the table being the final course to tea time. This is the best tea time in Arizona

Horrible ! Podemos escuchar a Los vecinos gritando y haciendo relajo en su cuarto toda la noche , una pesadilla sabiendo que segun uno va a pasar la noche como familia a un "luxury hotel" , nos hicieron subir por un elevador viejisimo y por la parte donde solo pasa el personal debido a que sus elevadores no servian , una total pesadilla ya que tenemos 3 hijos 1 bebe ,maletas y carreolas , no nos avisaron que el hotel estaba bajo remodelacion y solo tiene una alberca abierta que esta en pesimo estado , mejor ir a un motel cualquier que perder su diner ,horrible experiencia
