Stayed 3 nights here with my wife and kids. Wonderful stay. Location was fantastic. One day, we walked over to the Ferry Building for a great lunch at Hog Island. If you drive, get SpotHero and get overnight parking at a close by garage for a fraction of the hotel price. This hotel is iconic. 19 former US presidents stayed here and there is a drink dedicated to each one. The room we got was a double queen. Not the biggest I have had but had 12 ft ceilings and seemed quite spacious. Overall, fantastic hotel.

Stayed here for two nights and all the staff are very courteous and very supportive. The atmosphere is awesome. And awesome music around the restaurant. Bathtub is bit old but no complaints since this entire building was built in 1909. Breakfast buffet that’s fantastic.

We had the most awkward and rude service at breakfast. My husband ordered salmon eggs Benedict, and kid got a pastry basket. I’m not a breakfast person so I only wanted some coffee. Our server gave me look like I should order something, that look lasted about 10 seconds. It was quite awkward. When the food came out, my husband didn’t get what he ordered. It’s normal to mess up orders so it didn’t bother us. We told our server that it wasn’t what he ordered, she sighed, and said “same price”. That was very awkward. I didn’t want to be confrontational so I let it go. The bill came out with service charge included, and a line for tips also. I was a bit confused. She then brought us another bill without service charge, while I was looking at the previous bill. One of the most awkward and unwelcoming experience I’ve had. Mind you this a five stars hotel, you expect great service. The swap meet has better service. Would not go there again. Food was mediocre.

Highly highly recommend this hotel! My wife, 5-month-old and I stayed here for a day and we were absolutely blown away with their hospitality. Easily one of the most pleasurable stays to date. Big shoutout to Lidia at the Pool/Gym! Nicest lady ever. Make sure you stop by and say hi. Only downsides I guess was the $72/day valet and the 20% service fee for breakfast to room. But I mean other than that, you 100% get what you pay for!

Beautiful classic hotel. Lobby and public areas are well maintained. They have a nook with some history of the hotel that is worth checking out. Rooms are well appointed and have been upgraded nicely while still keeping the feel of a classic building.

It was absolutely beautiful ! We loved the rooms and the bathrooms wow!! It had the antique look. Service was great! Breakfast wow! Pied piper was ok to be honest in terms of food quality but the room itself was wow! Beautiful hotel , great service and location is perfect !! They also provided complimentary coffee , nice touch to keep guests happy . Hot tub wasn’t working so that was a downer . Other than that def. Would stay again !! Thank you for the great service provided !!!

Stop in and have a drink in the garden court. This is truly a magical experience to look up at the beautiful glass ceiling & Crystal chandeliers. If it's after 4pm, the hotel bar/restaurant will be open too. Stop in and peek at "The Pied Piper". It is a 16 foot multi-million dollar painting made by a gentleman years ago for SF. A truly magnificent paiting. Don't miss this!!!

The rooms are small but cozy. Service is not great. Asked for a couple of things to the reception and was never sent to the room. Locality is great. You get a streetcar or a bus right in front of the hotel. The lobby is awesome. The mini hotel museum is cute. There are few old artifacts kept around the lobby which reminds you of the long lost glory of this heritage hotel. The in house swimming pool was awesome but the hot tub was not working. You have to walk a lot to reach the lift lobby or to go to the ice machine.Summary - Not worth the price tag.

I was very impressed with everything this hotel had to offer.The dining, fitness center/pool area, opulent, plush rooms with modern bathrooms exceeded my expectations.They even had a scale in the bathroom.But it was the friendliness and eagerness to help/assist of the staff which made a profound impression to me.My stay was brief however I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to San Francisco because of the Palace Hotel.

The most important criteria for "luxury" hotels is attention to detail. It's what sets them apart from "regular" hotels or vacation rentals. My recent stay at the Palace Hotel in April of 2022 showed a great lack of attention to detail.The shared areas of the hotel, such as the lobby, gym, pool, etc. are beautifully decorated. It's what got us to book the hotel to begin with.However, once we checked into our room it was pretty disappointing. I always check the room for cleanliness before settling down. There were stains on the bottom of the toilet seat, old receipts from a previous guest slightly under the bed. The rooms looked decent, but showed poor and lazy design. The shower door did not block water from leaking out, resulting in a pool of water around the toilet after a shower. No bathroom fan so humidity and smells would just waft into the room. The AC would kick on throughout the night and it was loud. Imagine a small generator just turning on in the ceiling. Also no bathrobes? Feels like that be standard.This is the second Marriot location that's been marketed as a luxury stay but beyond decoration, best westerns almost offer better stays.

Part of the reason why I’m rating The Palace so highly is due to the dedicated staff and overall services. I book the stay, for my birthday, in advance and corresponded with the Chief Concierge,Jose. He helped me find and book reservations for dinner and even picked up my birthday cake from a nearby bakery on my behalf. When I arrived to the hotel and checked in, the staff carefully transported my belongings to my room and placed it all in the right place.I didn’t need to lift a finger.Shout out to Ronald!!! My room was spacious, clean, and came with a decent view. The other reason why my rating is so highly is due to the preservation and usability of the landmark space.The Garden Court is breathtaking! I could sit in that area for hours. I love the hotel’s history room and even the antique mailbox.All of these area are accessible, which allows us to be a part of the hotel’s history.The Palace felt like a home away from home, a dreamy reality, and a relic of time. For the best experience possible: Please coordinate with the staff in advance, be kind, and let the team do the rest. And at the end, pay the tip and say thank you! It goes a long way.

Beautiful hotel, that is well maintained...for a building built in 1909, I mean it's immaculate.The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.The hotel amenities are very nice and clean.The 2 - Double superior room felt a little tight and though enough room to sleep 4, with only 3 of us, we really could've used another seat or bench and a larger side table in order to spread out.There is a mini fridge in the room; and microwave in the lobby, which was handy. We did have an issue at the Pied Piper; literally ordered the simplest item and they messed that up.Cookies and ice cream, with no ice cream?Very disappointing considering the price and inconvenience.They should've comped the order since we didn't realize the error until getting back to our room on the 7th floor. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and love the location; very walkable.

Honestly, one of the most lovely hotels I've stayed in. Our suite was spacious, though lacked much of a view. It was quiet, and the staff was accommodating and pleasant. They never brought an extra pillow either night I requested one, but they did make the beds each day which we very much appreciated. The hot tub was a little gross, with bright green algae, but the attendant was incredibly friendly- bringing treats to the kiddos. A great experience overall!

This was my best hotel experience in LA ever ever ever!!!! Concierge was accommodating and sweet. We were given drink vouchers so we were able to get complimentary drinks at the hotel bar. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I slept so well the nights of my visit. This was my first Palace Hotel hotel experience and I'm looking forward to making more experiences withuxury Collection Hotel.

We love staying at the Palace Hotel. It’s part of the Luxury Collection by Marriott, so you cannot go wrong. With most of the rooms being recently updated, you’ll get a modern bathroom with a bidet, and the most comfiest bed! I also love their hair care products. The only drawback are the windows aren’t soundproof (they appear to be older) so you can hear honking and sirens if you’re on the lower levels. Try to request a room on one of the upper levels if possible. The brunch buffet is delicious and there are many options for everyone. Highly recommend. Even if you don’t eat here, have a cocktail during Happy Hour and enjoy the beautifully restored 100-year old glass ceiling. This is where The Game with Michael Douglas was filmed, if you remember that scene of him crashing through the ceiling. Also, make sure you use a parking app to find the lowest-priced parking options because their parking is not cheap.

Hotel céntrico, con lobby muy bonito, pero esperaba más la verdad, armarios pequeños, y la limpieza deja mucho que desear, si levantas las ventanas del baño te horrorizas, las cortinas y ventanas súper sucias, la wiffi no va, el minibar vacio, el baño pequeño. Puedes pedir un paquete de datos que ofrecen en su web, pero en recepción te dicen que no tienen. Como he dicho esperaba más.

I had a short stay a few months ago on a random exploration trip from Texas. I don’t remember much other than the gentleman at the front desk was from Boston and that his opulent customer service was truly radiating. I received the absolute highest quality of service. It was like I was the only person there. I will be staying here on my next trip to San Francisco just to see the opera and to relax the Palace. I will fly to San Francisco just to stay here. It really is that great of an experience.

If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit RoomBully. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere! We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Everything was perfect! We dined in the restaurant at the hotel, and it was delicious, and the service was excellent. We played golf, went shopping downtown, rode the trolley, and just enjoyed sightseeing on this beautiful island. I love it all and want to come back to visit soon.

El edificio es bastante antiguo pero bien conservado estuve aquí para una conferencia de desarrolladores de Google y pudimos ver la decoración y el mantenimiento al edificio.Tiene escaleras eléctricas para poder acceder a los salones de conferencias y unos pasillos bastante largos que atraviesan el edificio hacia la calle de atrás que permiten acceder a todos los salones.En General creo que es un buen venue para reuniones y eventos.

Es un hotel de lujo muy bien ubicado pero con algunos contras:Wifi de pago en la habitación Hab y baño excesivamente pequeños. A veces se hacia incomodo estar dos personas con nuestro equipaje por lo justa que es la estancia. El agua de la piscina cubierta y el ambiente en general demasiado frio.Como puntos favorables la buen atención del personal, en especial el front desk Arturo que nos ayudó con unos problemas de la reserva. El desayuno de calidad excelente aunque quizas echamos de menos mas opciones.

Se nota el lujo por todas partes. En mi caso fui para un evento así que no disfruté de las habitaciones pero sí de las salas que nos prepararon y del catering para el desayuno, la comida y los snacks en los descansos. Las salas en las que estuve eran bastante amplias y muy bien preparadas con buena iluminación y pantallas de proyección.
