It is the BEST resort EVER! I've never got such nice and genuine service before in my life. All stuff, I mean ALL, from front desk, waiters, to entertainment was so amazing! They wouldn't stop wanting to please you, they will do anything to make your vacation good. always willing to help. food was AMAZING!!! Food in their restaurants was amazing as well and everything is designed in such a cool and unique way, we loved everything. By the end of our staying everyone recognized us, If we were gone for the day they asked where have we been, entertainment knew all of our names and also gave us nicknames. Valentino from entertainment should get a rise and promotion he's absolutely amazing! Best entertainment guy! Shows and things to do were amazing! I never thought hotel activities would be so fun and high quality! Will come back here again for sure I honestly have hard time wanting to try other hotels around after this experience. Amazing experience and amazing vacation thanks to them!

I really enjoyed this resort. Very nice staff and beautiful property. The food is amazing. We had there the best two weeks. There was a lot of fun activities every day: Aqua aerobic, yoga, dance. Javier and Delmar are amazing instructors. Specially I would like thank you Javier . He is very friendly and professional, he works very hard and do incredible job. His yoga was very helpful . I had a lot of fun from dance , he made us happy. Loved the entertainment. There was a lot of fun activity every day. Thank you wonderful team : Javier, Jacqueline, Delmar, Eduardo, Alejandro, Valentino. Appreciate all of the work that they do.

There was 7 of us 2 rooms. The rooms are not clean and very out dated. When we arrived there was blood on the pillows and snot in the covers. They only gave us 1 towel to wash up with, we had to ask several times to get more towels.when they “clean” the rooms the doors are open so sometimes there were lizards in our room. We were assigned a butler she was amazing. Dinner reservations are hard to get but she made sure we had reservations each night. The food is really good the hospitality of the staff at the hotel is good. The entertainment is good. Overall everything was good except the rooms. I loved eating, drinking and hanging by the pool but I dreaded going to sleep. We stayed for 5 days then stayed 2 days at their other resort which was amazing I didn’t want to leave that one.

Javier, Jackie, and Eduardo were extremely kind. They were super fun and full of excitement. They made me feel welcomed and kept the party alive. Javier approached my girlfriend and me on the first day with a great attitude. He was able to answer every question and signed us up to a great show. Jackie was full of life and always approached us with a great big smile every day asking us to join for awesome activities. Eduardo did such a great job during a pool volleyball game. He kept the energy up at all times and continued to make everyone laugh. Great experience here because of them three. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

This was the best all inclusive resort we have ever been to (better than Palace Resorts). Luxury Akumal is top notch, all the way from the grounds, to the pools, the beach, the staff, drinks and the food. Never had a bad experience from anyone. Had so many excellent experiences with the staff but the few that stood out have to be recognized! Victor at the breakfast juice bar, Valentino with the entertainment staff, and Angel with the waiting staff. You guys are the reason that my whole family had the best family vacation and it was at the Luxury Akumal resort. We will be back next Spring to visit you guys. Can't wait for trip #2 and 3, 4 5...... If you don't stay here, you aren't going to get the best trip possible at the best beach in the Mayan Riviera!

Had a fantastic time! Can’t wait to come back! Everyone was so nice and welcoming and very polite. Met lots of great people! One of the gentleman at the sports bar named Angelo was very kind and helpful whenever we had a question and he was a very funny person! He also is a positive person always happy!

This is our 3rd time at Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal! We love the resort so much. The beaches are beautiful, the food is great and the resort is so clean. We have so much fun and the most amazing time here!! Everyone is friendly and more than willing to help with anything you need! Karla and Luis from the reception area were great with checking on us when we arrived and were great to us! It’s our favorite place to visit and we already can’t wait to come back again! 😊

This was my sons first holiday out of Canada and we had the best time. The hotel has lots to do for kids. The entertainment staff are priceless. Dinners are good. We found the buffet good for the kids. The Gourmet restaurant was by far the best for service and food. The pools were big and plentiful. Galadino the bartender at the swim up bar was great. All staff work so hard. I went for two massages with Pamela and it was super.

Resort is great, beach is beautiful as is the hotel grounds. Restaurants offer a huge selection. You are able to freely use the neighbouring hotels also.Animation team work tirelessly all day and night. Something for everyone to join in with weather it be adults or kids they are great fun. Our only negative would be the rooms, they are all very standard and not 5* resort rooms, you can only upgrade if you don’t have children, so maybe looking at better upgrade options for all.

A great complex with multiple hotels which can all be visited by jumping on the little electric shuttles. The lobbies to these hotels are some of the grandest I have ever seen. Add to that the Maya people who tend to work the bars and catering are the loveliest of people. Always smiling and ready with a "Ola". If you can't enjoy this place you're very hard to please. We had a great time.
