“The amenities were great, the hotel grounds, pool, beach, etc. Food (breakfast and pool side) were mediocre. The staff at the pool side were great…super friendly and prompt. Beach was great.The beach chairs were included but umbrellas were $20 tax per day. …which surprises me seeing how much they charge per room.Rooms were also mediocre.I requested for daily housekeeping just to find out that the service only included exchanging of towels and bathroom amenities.No cleaning of the entire room or bed making or sweeping!The shower curtain had a weird stench, the corners were not swept, the bathtub doesn’t look like it’s been deep cleaned for a while.I’m sure Covid got something to do with this, but honestly little details like these are important especially for a huge corporation.Have had much better experience at Hyatt.Too bad there wasn’t a Hyatt on a private beach around the area.”
