“Normally a great experience here but on this occasion wrong rooms given at check in
Rectified with no apology
Had to change rooms again due to hardly any space to move in the bathroom
Then during the first day the rooms were not cleaned. We complained and despite assurances that they would be done they were not so we had to complain again
We were offered complimentary breakfasts and a slightly later check out time but again no real apology
Really disappointing and after 2 good previous experiences will most likely give this hotel a miss next time I visit Birmingham”

“I was gifted a red letter day so we chose this location for an overnight stay on our way to a holiday in Wales. The staff were very friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome as soon as we walked into reception. The 3 course evening meal and breakfast were well presented, plentiful and delicious. The room was spotlessly clean. Housekeeping can be commended for the pride they take in their work. The room had everything we needed for our overnight stay, although the decor is a little dated. The corridor areas definitely need attention. On leaving the receptionist said that the hotel is due a refurb. It will be interesting to see the improvements made. The location was quiet and overlooked fields. Although close to the motorway the sound of the traffic was very far into the distance. We slept with the window open and had a peaceful night's sleep.”
