Estuvimos el mes pasado con 10 amigos más en el Viva PALACE...el predio de los hoteles Beach y Palace es GIGANTE: jardines bien cuidados, playa limpia y muy amplia, buena sombra, siempre con reposeras disponibles.Servicio de internet malo. -habitación normal, al jardín, pide refacciones (la 5125) falta mantenimiento (una luz de lectura no funcionaba, puertas de placares se abrían, muebles lucen viejos, control de aire sin regulación de temperatura, una sola silla en el balcón. Servicio de limpieza y sábanas muy bueno, todos los días ponen 2 botellitas de agua mineral de cortesía. -el servicio de comida  en los restaurantes buffet es discreto, siempre conviene esperar a los cocineros (muy amistosos todos) lo que hacen al momento, falta surtido de fiambres (encontrar jamón crudo por ej., una quimera), los postres de repostería tienen muchos colores pero todos saben iguales. Para destacar en el buffet LaTerraza al mediodía a Yencel Quezada por su buena onda con todo el grupo.También el buffet La Roca, excelente ubicación y vista, al lado del mar. -el servicio de comida  en los restaurantes a la carta que fuimos es claramente superior: El Atlantis, El Viva Café y el Bambú excelente atención, ambientación, servicio. Descartar Il Palco, feo lugar y comida -Deportes Náuticos: disponibles por turnos de 30 minutos catamaranes, kayaks, paddle table, laser (si lo armaran..lo tienen a un costado de la base) Hay dos bases, una en el sector del Beach, muy mala onda los muchachos de allí, sin ganas. La otra base en el sector del Palace, mejor, algunos de los muchachos bien predispuestos y otros no tanto. Aquí hicimos base para la parte náutica y de playa. No se entiende por qué si un turno anterior quedó vacante, no permiten salir antes del horario asignado para poder aprovechar tan linda actividad. -Bares: hay 8 contando los 2 complejos, Bar La Papaya en pileta sector Palace siempre con mucho personal, bien atendido, poca espera. Hay un snack allí al lado, el V.W.D.Palace, con hamburguesas, pizzas, salchichas, papas, nachos, etc, muy piola, pero 20 min.antes del cierre comienzan a quitar todo y lo que hay, hay…. Bar El Trago, poco personal, puede haber una cola gigante que no se les mueve un pelo para mejorar la atención. Bar La Placita en pileta sector Beach, muy grande, mucho personal, a la noche cuando se junta bastante gente por el show al aire libre y para bailar, funciona bien Bar Lobby V.W.D.Palace íbamos mucho antes de la cena, chico pero siempre atendieron muy bien. Lo llamativo era que siempre tenían poca bebida de “marca”, tipo Campari, Aperol, etc y estaba “cuidada” no así las bebidas “regulares”como llaman a las de marcas menores, que sí abundan. Esto mismo ocurría en TODOS los bares, poca bebida de marca, mucha “regular” Un secreto muy bien escondido es la cafetería del Palace, al lado del Rest. Palito de Coco. Pasando rápido casi ni se la ve, unas pocas mesas afuera y adentro. Ideal para quienes les gusta desayunar o merendar tranquilo buena cafetería y cosas de panadería o tortas, alejados de las multitudes. Destaca la atención de la barista ISAMAR por cordialidad, sentido del humor y también de RONNY.Para bailar al aire libre, a la noche hasta las 12.30hs en sector bar La Placita con temática diferente cada noche, después hasta tarde en Disco Bar la Locura música electrónica y más. Cantantes y músicos en vivo a la noche en Bar La Papaya.Por qué el hotel NO ES UN LUGAR AMISTOSO PARA GRUPOS?éramos 11 (encima impar!) y cuando uno arma y viaja en grupo que quiere? estar juntos! por eso va en grupo! gran parte del staff no entiende esto y a la hora de reservar en los rest.a la carta, nos querían poner en 2 grupos, incluso a diferente hora! Al ir a cenar a un buffet, era un problema y no dejaban armar mesa para estar juntos, incluso una noche en La Terraza, la encargada no permitió juntar más de 4 mesas porque “queda desordenado el salón” a pesar de estar en un rincón y hubo 2 personas que tuvieron que comer apretadas en un mismo lugar! Responsables del hotel, tengan en cuenta a los grupos numerosos!

Great hotel for all inclusiv vacation

Short story: Except wasting time at check-in, trying to connect to WiFi all the time and standing in queues (food, drinks, making restaurant reservations and even toilet), we had a great time.Detailed story:There was a long queue at check-in, one agent handled multiple check-ins at the same time. We asked, how it works here and for a map of the resort. Come tomorrow, was the answer. They can't even provide us with a map of the resort and say, what's included and where to get it at which time. After a long drive from Santo Domingo and the worst check-in ever, I just wanted a coke. So we went to the first bar, sorry, not included. Tried the Viva Cafe next, sorry, not included. Went to the La Rocca Restaurant, sorry, not included. Went to Restaurant 25°, included, but only with a reservation. So the next day, we went to guest service and finally got an instruction, how it works here and a map. There are two parts in the resort, Beach and Palace. Palace guests can go everywhere. Normal Beach guest have the choice of 4 restaurants and the big buffet. You can go to restaurants three times a week, but you need to make a reservation. Reservations are open every Sunday starting at 8 o'clock, which obviously leads to a loooooong queue. If you are a VIP, you can use all of the 9 restaurants and also unlimited times per week, but you still need to make a reservation. Also you can use the other amenities from Palace. There are also some Snack Places and some Bars. The WiFi is popping in and out and most of the time not usable, best connection you will get at the reception at Palace. The TVs are big but also unusable, cable is very, very poor quality, and because the WiFi is not working, Netflix is also not working. The aircon was broken when we arrived and needed fixing, It happened the same-day as we reported it.6 days after we arrived we got a message at the door, we should contact guest service. They were reading our story here on GMaps and offered us a room with better WiFi and quieter in the night. The room looked like a downgrade, so we didn't accept. Then we got the info, we were already upgraded (what no one told us at check-in, would have been a nice selling point, thanks for that by the way) to a junior suite and the exchange room was a superior room, what we actually booked. That's why our "superior room" looked quite big and had two rooms and two shower and toilet rooms.The beds are quite comfy. Every day, you get 2 bottles of water in the room, which we always put right away in the fridge.Loud music till way over midnight, what will prevent you from sleeping. Food in the restaurants is quite nice, at buffet just standard. At the buffet is always a long queue to get in at all times and they don't have enough plates, cutleries and glasses. The beach is nice and clean. Beautiful Sunset can be observed.Most of the waiter wants you to comment on TripAdvisor and mention their name and great service, which it mostly is.Some guys in brownish shirts try to talk to you, make good friends and invite you to a manager's speak, probably about a time sharing thing. If you are older and want some peace or a family with small children choose viva palace, but if you want music, fun and action choose viva beach :-)

Hotel 4 estrellas all inclusive, con muy buena relación costo calidad. Lo mejor es que esta emplazado a lo largo de la costa con unos 900 m de playa espectacular. A mejorar la calidad de los tragos. Recomendable.

Este es un hotel 3 estrellas todo incluido desayuno snack almuerzo cena ( pizzería y trago 24 horas) muy satisfecha con el servicio excelente servicio al cliente es super grande y acogedor Aires en super buenas condiciones WiFi full tv cable camas todo bien,las debilidades componen cepillos ,ni pasta dental , ni cremas deben traer todo eso . El buffet es con poca variedad pero todo muy rico. Me.gusto la estadía vuelvo pronto.

My husband and I traveled from the United States, excited by what the resort's website offered, but the reality was something very disappointing because the services were very bad in every sense of the word, from the reception, cold food, warm beer and to close with a flourish a rat among our belongings in the middle of the night eating snacks in our room. We complained to room manager about tv not working and poor internet service and nobody shows to correct problems and we continue to call and nobody helping with the room. Also an employee was making dinner reservations did not make them forcing us to eat buffet both nights. I would never return to a place like that and I do not recommend tampico to anyone or everreturn to Wyndham resort again. 👎

One of the best Hotels in Bayhibe. The beach is awesome with so many palms. All the workers here try there very best for the guests and the Service is awesome. Many nice excursiones! All in all it is a great time and i would always come here back! Thanks for All!!

Although the large portions under construction, this hotel feels like an upscale brother to the dominicus beach nextdoor. We were upgraded to here. We had an oceanfront view room. I don't think these rooms have been upgraded as they were very plain. It was kind of crazy that they charge extra to use your room safe per day. The restaurants and bars on this side were staffed better then the ones on the beach side. Overall three and a half Stars but you have to pick three or four and I wouldn't go as low as three.

Ive been traveling for 22yrs and this was the worst experience I've had in all of my yrs of traveling. Some male workers are Very Rude Mainly the ones in the Lobby! While trying to book reservations 11 o'clock in the morning for the same evening and the following evening for my family and I. I was told all of the restaurants that needed reservations were booked for the next 3 days. The guy by the name Bry M. was Soo Rude and said, Oh well it's nothing we can do for you.. He said it so cold hearted as if we asked for a favor.. These are some of the things that comes along with the package we paid for. Key word, PAID FOR! The women are friendly and welcoming. I will Never come back or recommend this Resort to Anyone. I'm very Disappointed!!! Take your money else where.

The beach is free to the public according to the Book of the constitution of the Dominican Republic. This hotel has his security harassing ppl that want to walk across the beach or swim in front of the hotel .

My husband and I went for our elopement…. It was perfect!!! We went to a club that was a natural cave dripping in water . Lost for words perfect.

This hotel is actually closed. The Company who owns it is using the rooms to host guests from the Viva Dominicus Beach (right beside). Which is a really long walk to get to restaurants and bar and get to everything.

I'll tell you one thing that travel agents do not want you to know. When reserving places use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ They have the best deals on resorts! Way better than using orbitz, priceline, hotwire. Take my word for it!!!Lovely place. Good food, professional staff. Clean sand and Cristal see. It was pleasure to be here!

Estuvo muy bueno el hotel, no les doy el 5 Estrellas, por que deben mejorar la rapidez en el servicio de los Bar y Snack. Ya que entiendo que por la pandemia pueden poco personal, pero deben evitar que se hagan filas largas para las bebidas y meriendas.Nota: es la Segunda vez que voy y me encanta en lo personal, si tengo que volver en una semana, arranco de una vez. Lo recomiendo al 100%. Pero la Rapidez es un detalle que deben mejorar.

The Place is not well maintained and everything is dirty including the beach and the pools. A lot of the chairs on the beach are damaged and i didnt dare to seat on them or on the bed, because i sow people stand on them with their dirty shoes and no body clean after them. the food and drink are very cheap, the cocktails are a joke. There is no information about any coming entertainment activity, only people around push you to by more service or excursions

It was beautiful I experienced was great. All the workers from the bar to the dancing via membership day was wonderful. The property was kept clean the room was done beautifully and clean we kept clean towels. And I want to thank you for the very great experience that I have had in the Dominican Republic. It is a chance that I can come back and visit again.

No geral é muito bom! Pena que passa muito rápido, a maioria dos funcionários são bem prestativos. A infraestrutura é bem completa, alimentação, comodidades .. o mar é um pouco mais gelado que em Punta Cana porem mais limpo, sem algas e tem muitos peixes para pratica de snorkeling.

Great time in Viva´s Dominicas Palace! So far our best week in the DR! We organized a family meeting, part comes from Florida, another part from Bavaria. The staff was amazing, very helpful to celebrate our family event. Thanks again! The rooms are huge and clean, what you need more? Yes, a nice beach and good restaurants and both we find in this resort. Me and my husband decided to come back and celebrate our anniversary.

Best experiences! Just back from a 10 day trip to the DR. Bayahibe is a small and nice village, the VIVA PALACE fulfilled our expectations. Great service, very good restaurants. all over - a perfect location and thanks to Vanessa from the VIVA BEACH. You made our trips unforgettable!

The hotel lobby staff are incompetent and very slow. The rooms are subpar and not clean. The food is typical cafeteria food. Overall a poor experience.

Perfect vacacion. Nice personal and food is excellent too. The best animator is Tania. There is a program all the time near the pool. The beach is big and there is an option to go to a paddle board...

Staff are unwilling or unable to speak English. Very unfriendly and unwelcoming. You would think with covid every customer would matter. Understaffed which creates long lines for simple services...
