“It was our first time in Cancun and stayed at all inclusive hotel, Beach Palace. The pros: The view from our lagoon facing room was great, could see for miles and could also see some of the beach side. The a/c chilled the room with no problems. The restaurants inside the hotel had pretty good food overall. Spacious swimming pools with swim up bars. The cons: Seaweed was covering the entire beach and was thick in the water for about 100 yards out, which made the beach mostly unusable. The cocktails were noticeably watered down, so more are needed than should be to get your buzz on. Restocking of our room fridge and mini bar seemed to be hit or miss. Had to call and request it to be restocked more than we should have. Excursions are expensive. Beds are small, so no stretching out...be prepared to snuggle with your partner, whether you want to or not. Overall we liked the stay, didn't love it.”

“I am giving this resort 3 stars because the staff is so kind, but the resort itself wasn’t for us and they transferred us to another Palace Property (which we appreciated). This resort is very small and compact and it can’t handle the demands of all the kids running around when it’s at or near capacity. The pool is incredibly small and is very cramped since they are always doing some kind of activity right in the middle of it taking up valuable space. Teens are allowed to run around the hallways at all hours. If you’re on a budget and have children, this one is a good fit. If you are traveling as a couple, a family with young adults/mature teens, or an adult group, this Palace location absolutely ISN’T for you! Try the Grand at Moon Palace! It’s worth the additional cost!”
