“This place is a real disappointment. Physical structure rooms etc are OK. Staff try to be helpful. IWe love Marriott AC hotels. This one diminishes the brand. If not for the fabulous breakfast, this place would barely get one star. There are other nearby Marriott options that have to be better if you want to stay with the brand. No airport shuttle service as advertised, instead they use cabs. This maybe ok as other hotels charge for this service, then again they advertise shuttle and instead schedule cabs which tend to be less reliable, and when your traveling abroad…. We booked a local private tour through the hotel, horrible. They obviously do no vetting. We’ve had mediocre tours before, but this was beyond the pale. The tour guide actually lied about what was and not open when we made requests. This was a private tour for two. We should expect better recommended services. Thanks The AC’s resturant, which they advertise as an asset, had a very loud DJ that made the resturant a very unpleasant experience. He only played what sounded like Spanish rap or techno music, all at a very high volume. This was more like a loud bar. It was even Hard to communicate with servers and hard to eat. There were NO quiet spaces in the resturant where you could carry on a conversation and enjoy a meal. Maybe a nice bar scene, but not someplace for a meal when you are traveling, or had a long day. It was so loud there was nowhere in the lobby or any public spaces where you were not blasted with very annoying music. All would be ok if they had warned that the resturant was going to be a loud bar that evening. Not a place for travelers seeking to relax. Thanks Everywhere else we went in Costa Rica bars and restaurants featured Costa Rican rums beers etc, not here. One local craft beer, when there are plenty to be had, and NO high end Costa Rican rums, disgraceful. The menus seemed fine, but hard to tell if the food is decent when you are engulfed by loud music.”

“Everything is great about this hotel. Very comfortable room, excellent location, but staff is above all expectations: so friendly, caring, helpful and nice. Secure area, shopping complex with lots of great restaurants, shoos, coffee places. And if you fancy a walk / jog in the morning - lots of tracks and waterfall few min away Tudo é ótimo sobre este hotel. Quarto muito confortável, excelente localização, mas a equipe está acima de todas as expectativas: muito simpática, atenciosa, prestativa e agradável. Área segura, complexo comercial com muitos ótimos restaurantes, shoos, cafés. E se você gosta de uma caminhada / corrida pela manhã - muitas trilhas e cachoeira a poucos minutos”
