“We are currently here, I have to say this is not what I expected when I booked. Cons: Beds springs poke you and beds feel they should have been replaced 10 years ago. Long waits for everything. Can't book special restaurantsunless you are there when they open Food is very bland When you have an issue they don't care, and act like you don't matter Dont pay for any upgraded rooms they have a good view but the inside is outdated and the beds are terrible. The lower level rooms have more upgrades and an ok view. Drinks are low level and they don't have a lot of the alcohols. Half the trip had to ask for the room to be cleaned and fridge filled Only beer for alcoholin the fridge Things in room were missing like chairs or didn't work. Oriental restaurant service was terrible since we didn't buy wine they ignored us They don't clean up the floors, counters or shower mats Hot tub was not working part of our stay. Ran out of vanilla daily for coffee Booking your covid test was hard and they couldn't do it till over half way into our stay. Activities that they show don't happen many of times. Always late even when have something scheduled. Many things are not inclusive like the gym No luxury herePlus: Beach isclean and nice in front of this hotel Most of theworkers other then front desk work very hard. We loved our week stay at Grand Park Royal in Cancun in the Royal Tower pool room #2401. Jessica our ‘butler’ (which felt more like a friend) helped make sure our stay went flawless. She was always just a call/text away with any questions, reservations or help that we needed. She always make sure to say hello and ask how we are doing when we passed her on walking the grounds. We always looked forward to her daily morning text message with the full resort schedule for the day. Jessica made sure to surprise me and decorate the room for my birthday. Which was such a sweet and fun touch to walk into!Our room was freshly cleaned, stocked and organized daily as if we had just checked in. Room service was a great amenity for those lazy mornings or late night snack. Very easy to place your order via phone call or thru the app.Fidel at the buffet was phenomenal. We always requested to get sat in his area. He welcomed us with a friendly face and knew EXACTLY what the four of us wanted to drink without even having to ask. We really enjoyed our conversations with him and picking his knowledge about his culture.I cannot even begin to describe how much we’re gonna miss Alicia the pool server. She was an absolute gem. She remembered us day after day and like Fidel remembered to a T what we were drinking. We were always amazed at how hard she was working in the heat, sand and crowds and often without getting tips from others. She was always go go go on the run and still always had a smile on her face and made us feel special with her kind soul. Even when our cups weren’t ready for a refill, she’d bring a plastic cup of just enough to top our cups off. Whatever praise/acknowledgement from management that comes from these reviews, I hope Alicia receives it to the fullest. She single handedly will be the one person we will always remember from our vacation to Cancun.The resort is always kept clean and beautiful. There’s always stuff cleaning, sanitizing and sprucing up; and it doesn’t go unnoticed. We cannot wait to visit again!

Such an amazing vacation! We were with a group of 13 family members and everyone had a great time, ages ranging 14 to 74. First, the beach was gorgeous, the service was like nothing I've ever experienced everyone was so helpful and went out of their way to service and make sure everyone was happy. My son age 17 has a peanut and legume allergy and it was wonderful how staff, managers and chefs went out of their way to make him special plates and guide us through the buffet. and always asked if there were any food allergies in our group. We loved the DJ dance party, and the kareoke night! The entire resort was spotless and didn't feel crowded. The bars were great, as we tried all of them! The pools were clean and we easily got beach chairs and pool side chairs everyday. Our check in was smooth as well as our check out, and unlike some other reviews we were never approached by any timeshare people However my brothers family had already been there a few days prior and told them he would give is the "tour". I would say the only 2 minor very minor downfalls was the food was just okay. Asian/Habatchi place was great and breakfast buffet we loved. and the beds were uncomfortable but we basically just crashed in them so nothing to complain about. Overall this place was fantastic and we would return. Thank you Grand Park Royal for an amazing vacation!!

Hospitable people and very nice resort! Would definitely stay again! We enjoyed the beach so much! We are not really pool and resort people, but the other amenities made it a great stay. Six days, and we never had to leave the premises! Honestly, we never even considered it, which is a good testament to how comfortable it was to be here. The next time we are in the area, we will stay here again. As a final thought-- the room upgrade is worth it. Do it.

O lugar e maravilhoso,mas alguns funcionários não tem paciência para tentar nos ouvir,já que sou brasileira e não sei a língua do país,tive muitas dificuldades em ser entendida,muita falta de paciência deles,me senti como se estivesse pedir um favor,acho que o hotel tem que preparar melhor seus funcionários,na piscina logo bem cedo são colocados nas cadeiras toalhas, impedindo que possamos nos sentar,e fica fazia por horas,acho que tem que ter algum funcionário para ver isso e retirar as toalhas se as pessoas demorarem para ocupar,mas no restaurante o hotel e muito bom,só precisa melhorar o atendimento entre pessoas. Amei esse lugar e voltamos.Essa observação e para poder ajudar na melhoria deste lugar tão lindo .

I'm currently at the resort (day 2) and I'm incredibly disappointed so far. The Ocean is beautiful but you are only allowed to swim in one small area of the beach. Also they block the access to the beach at night to discourage people from going on it. Who wants to go to cancun and not be able to fully utilize the beach? At the buffet which is below average Masks and plastic gloves are required while inside. They also take your temperature before every meal. It's to late to ask for my money back and I'm with a large group so I guess I'm here for the full amount of time. I will have another review at the end of my trip and I hope it's more positive then this one

Omg !!! Where to start. Fantastic views and amazing beaches. Best cuisine I ever hadbest part was the Prime steakhouse. First there’s the wine list don’t have to get a bottle if you don’t want to. We got the Argentinian Malbec it was delicious. We started with the salads, I have the poach salmon the wife had the Cesar. After the salads Ricardo and his teammate Eric brought us our soup it was absolutely fantastic broccoli cream super delicious!!! The prime rib was everything baked potato asparagus and some mushrooms to boot!!! After all is said and done and it was full as can be the dessert came out nice presentation with the alcohol and the flames beautiful mango mousse chocolate brownie and a chocolate mousse cake. Best trip ever by far!!! Will be back next yr only this time it’s 10 days not 4!! Will miss this place😢

Sobre o quarto são limpos, bonitos e as camas ótimas. Com relação a estrutura do hotel e muito boa , as piscinas são lindas e a comida e bebidas de uma forma geral boas também. O detalhe fica com o atendimento que pode ser melhorado na recepção / concierge. Não nos informaram como funcionava o hotel, a questão das toalhas e principalmente a necessidade de reservar os restaurantes para o jantar. Os atendentes da cafeteria/sorveteira também "brigaram com o mundo " e não foram educados em vários momentos.

Deixou a desejar no piso da piscina menor, na alimentação, no serviço de recepção do restaurante principal, na demora no oriental. Mas por outro lado a equipe de recreação foi nota 1.000 em tudo. Excelentes monitores. Bebida em fartura. Quarto muito bom. Passeios furados pela CVC com venda de um pacote que não tem na real. O Hotel poderia conceder uma semana para mim e minha esposa para passar melhores diretrizes de melhorias e adequações nos ambientes e nos serviços diretos. Fico a disposição para auxiliar e ajudar no que se diz respeito as melhorias internas. Vale lembrar que muitos brasileiros usufruem do hotel.

Si hubiera la opción, pondría cero estrellas. El hotel es hermoso y la mayoría del personal es muy eficiente, lo malo es todo el personal de las gerencias, que se supone están para resolver situaciones, y lo único que hacen es evadir su responsabilidad. Unos huéspedes alcoholizados nos agredieron físicamente, uno esperaría que viniera seguridad y nunca apareció. El gerente en turno nos engaño diciendo que se los había llevado la policía, pero seguían tomando en una de las albercas ¿con que tranquilidad uno puede seguir disfrutando del hotel? Pésima atención de estos personajes que les queda muy grande el puesto, por supuesto que nunca dieron seguimiento a nuestro estado. Claramente su mayor preocupación es la imagen ante las redes sociales más allá de la real experiencia del huésped. En los restaurantes si vas en grupos grandes, éramos 7, te sientan a "criterio" del que esté. En la mañana todos juntos y en la tarde, mismo restaurante, separados ¿En que se basan? En fin este hotel es muy poco recomendable, si pueden busquen otro

Me encantó mucho el hotel. El servicio y la limpieza estuvo excelente!! Pero lo mejor de todo fue el servicio del restaurante . Quienes me atendieron fueron super amables y se veía que amaban su trabajo ◡̈ Gracias a ellos pudimos regresar con in recuerdo muy hermoso que nunca podremos olvidar❤️ Muchas gracias por el bonito recuerdo! Para que la estadía sea más placentera deberían ser más accesible en la cantidad de comensales por mesa. Faltaría hacerun cambio de reposeras y agregar más en la zona de playa.

Nos pedimos una habitación doble con cama extra grande y vistas al mar, y nos dieron una con dos camas separadas… Pero por lo demás fue estupendo, la comida del buffet fue la mejor de todas, la playa justo en frente y un par de piscinas con bar y zona de snacks. Los chicos de animación son geniales, nos hicieron pasar muy buen rato, y el personal en general es súper amable, súper atento, súper educado, de verdad un 10 por aguantar todos los días a tanto turista y hacerlo con tanta profesionalidad.

Beautiful beach, excellent staff and service. Let me qualify my review by saying we are not "all-inclusive resort" type of people. I was skeptical but decided to give it a try because my wife and I just wanted to relax. We had booked a room with 2 queen beds because my wife's best friend was joining us for part of the trip. We were issued a room with 1 king instead, and got blown off each time we checked to see if we could be switched. Room service and cleaning service were both exceptional. There is nothing more relaxing than coming back to your room after being out all day and everything is as clean and tidy as it was when you checked in.This resort is a great place to stay if you want to lose weight; the all-inclusive meals will keep you alive but don't get excited about them. Our first morning there, as we headed down for much needed coffee, we were accosted by a salesperson disguised as our concierge. After a couple of minutes going over the hotel and possible excursions we found ourselves in the middle of a sales pitch for their vacation club, and they are very skilled at not taking no for an answer. Duck and dodge these people with all of your abilities.In summary, an all-inclusive package is a waste of money if the quality is off-putting.

Location: it’s a 5 out 5. Great beach. Great location for a resort. View: we had a great view of the ocean. Staff: Amazing people. They were so kind, helpful, and went out of their way to make people happy. Food: the food is good, but not great! This is very personal, so hard to rate. There were meals we loved, and meals we wish it was better. Loud music at night: ouch… not good for kids. You will need to find something to help buffer the loud music outside. YouTube has plenty of white noise options. Would we come back? absolutely! 🇲🇽🇺🇸🇧🇷🙏🏼

Buen hotel con buena ubicación, instalaciones amplias y en buen estado, todos los restaurantes con comida muy rica y también las áreas de snacks, alberca amplia y la playa bonita sin piedras, solo que nos toco en época que estuvo mar en bandera roja o amarilla todos los días aún así te podías meter con precaución. La habitación que a mi me toco tenía buena distribución del baño, mas privado , vimos las de nuestros acompañantes y si estaba mil veces mejor la de nosotros, lo que si no me gusto fueron las almohadas pero en cuanto a la habitación las camas estaban bien y era amplia, personal siempre amable, las amenidades no duraban mucho tiempo pero todos los días fue variado. Lo que no me gusto, nos toco puerta compartida con otra habitación y se escuchaba todo desde muy temprano que se levantaban, la platica, la regadera cuando se bañaban, y así. En general si lo recomiendo, tiene detalles como todos pero es muy buen hotel.

Beautiful all inclusive resort. The beach is stunning and there are nice chairs with shade available for the guests at no extra charge. They will also bring drinks to you on the beach. There are also two wonderful pools! The buffet food is good but make sure to make reservations at the specialty restaurants. 3 of them are included in the cost and just one has an extra fee. I liked the Italian restaurant the best!

We enjoyed our stay here a lot. At the check in we got an attractive offer to upgrade to the seafront room with private pool on the terrace, we took it and it was an excellent choice, the room is spacious, bed is comfortable; the sea view from the room is superb! However there’re activities in the afternoons and at night(till 11pm) next to our room, which can be quite noisy … it didn’t bother us but if you’re sensitive to noise better take something away from the main pool area.Food & drink is not top notch quality but for this rate in Cancun, I’d say, it’s good.Buffet breakfast / lunch are full of choices. I would highly recommend EI oriental restaurant out of the 3 restaurants for dinner. Staff is very friendly (Rolando and Daniel are super nice ; we had 2 dinners there and the second time we showed up they already know our preferences in drinks, nice touch)the dishes are well made and nicely presented. We’ve been to the Mexican for lunch and Italian for dinner, I think they have some improvements to make .I am really amazed all the staffs in the resort are so nice and friendly; they work so hard to make your stay enjoyable.Overall I would recommend this place to everyone.

What a great place! Me and wife went for a full week and everyday was a blast!The 5 restaurants are fantastic; our favorite was the oriental; but to be honest all were great. Swimming pools are ultra clean; the beach front was impeccable all the time; staff super friendly all over the board. Can't wait to be back!

The lower level rooms have more upgrades and an ok view. Drinks are low level and they don't have a lot of the alcohols. Half the trip had to ask for the room to be cleaned and fridge filled Only beer for alcoholin the fridge Things in room were missing like chairs or didn't work. Oriental restaurant service was terrible since we didn't buy wine they ignored us They don't clean up the floors, counters or shower mats Hot tub was not working part of our stay. Ran out of vanilla daily for coffee Booking your covid test was hard and they couldn't do it till over half way into our stay. Activities that they show don't happen many of times. Always late even when have something scheduled. Many things are not inclusive like the gym No luxury herePlus: Beach isclean and nice in front of this hotel Most of theworkers other then front desk work very hard. Pool with swim up bar is niceThis is not somewhere I would recommendstaying if you want a pleasantvacation. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Great service and amazing hospitality. Definitely enjoyed my stay . Would definitely come again to enjoy this paradise if a vacation once again. In the restaurant in the hotel, I had a great waiter named Daniel from the oriental restaurant was delightful.

Our first visit to Cancun. We Loved it. Hotel/resort staff were friendly & helpful. Tours were good & SAFE trips. We even got our COVID test done at hotel (free). Already recommended this hotel to friends & two are booking for February.

Very disappointed in the food. The buffet is very small, food always cold . The other restaurants are ok,absolutely nothing to recommend. The entertainment is amateurand ridiculous.The staff are fabulous,they go above and beyond.They work very hard. The view from the rooms is fabulous however you are not able to adjust the air conditioning.It's freezing. I would not recommend.

Great environment for family trips, girls trip or couples getaway.The staff was exceptional and the food was delicious!! We especially enjoyed the buffet… I’m not a buffet kinda girl but there was so much variety and very clean. As a vegetarian, I felt like I had options :) Fidel was our waiter most of the days and he was so attentive to our needs. We greatly appreciated him.The only reason 4 stars and not five is because of the lack of nightlife and check in/check out process. It was a little confusing!My advice is to book all of your excursions through the resort and if you’re going to buy cigars or jewelry, do it at the resort as well and not out on the town.

Increible el lugar. Cenamos en el restaurant oriental y fue una gran experiencia. No solo culinaria, sino sobre todo la atención. Nos trataron muy bien, Nos atendió Carlos y fue muy amable. Volveremos!

Hey,Just stayed at the Grand park Royal. You have to ask for Gilberto and Efrain!! These two men are amazing and made the trip awesome. My drinks stayed filled to the top and the food kept coming. They are in the buffet restaurant. Got an upgrade to a suite and it’s simply amazing l.

Olá! Estou aqui pra enaltecer todo tipo de atendimento prestado pelos funcionários do hotel! Simpáticos e solícitos a fazer o melhor, em especial no dia em que fui jantar no “Oriental” ao atendente Mário, supervisora Lupita e ao chefe Daniel. A qualidade e beleza dos pratos são inquestionáveis! Já nos bares também, me senti no Brasil tomando minha caipirinha! As camareiras lindas e simpáticas. Deixo aqui como sugestão alguma facilidade do hotel que seja como premiação para os funcionários poder fazer com que os mesmos experienciem uma hospedagem presente no hotel em que trabalham e percebam como a dedicação deles fazem a diferença. Obrigada a todos

Decent restaurants for the low price.The only problem was that it was REQUIRED to wear pants to enter the restaurants for dinner.Who brings pants to Cancun?!?Wasn’t expecting much considering this place was half off the other resorts in Cancun.The clubs/bars are kind of limited after 10:00PM, but the main downtown area is open late every night.Nice Pool Bar during the daytime at the Infinity Pool.I will maybe come back here if I’m on a budget.Overall 3/5.Definitely needs improvement.

My wife and I stayed here and had a great experience.The staff was friendly and attentive - most went above and beyond to make sure the stay was great and were proactive in their service.The rooms were clean and easy to access with amazing views.The resort had quite a few families, so it isn't for couples wanting to get away from kids, but my wife and I don't mind having kids around - especially when we don't have to take care of them. :)We'd definitely go back and recommend this place to others.Highly satisfied!

Uma coisa que me decepcionou muito foi a impossibilidade de poder agendar os jantares durante a estadia. Ou voce agenda tudo assim que chega ou você nao conseguirá jantar em ligar nenhum se tiver passeios. Os agendamentos sao das 9:00 as 16:00 e se vicê sair cedo todos os dias ficará impossibilitado de jantar. O Hotel nao te da nenhuma outra opção de agendar. Nem na recepção, nem por ligação e ninguem podera agendar a nao ser voce mesmo! Achei isso um grande descaso pois se tivessem boa vontade, alguma forma de agendamento existiria. Paguei US$ por cada refeição pedida durante a noite mesmo sendo all inclusive.

The resort it self was very pretty. My room was very nice and the view was amazing, as I was right on the beach with a private pool. My butler, Alfonso, was SUPERB!!! He was the only positive customer service experience that was received during my 5 day stay. I've traveled numerous times to Mexico, as it's one of my favorite countries to visit. The beauty and culture is gorgeous and inviting. However, the service at this resort was extremely disappointing from the front desk employees, hostess, bartenders and management. Maybe my expectations were high, as any resort I've ever visited, the employees were very kind, upbeat, accommodating and created an experience that made you not want to leave or you couldn't wait to get back - it was very unfortunate that this wasn't the case at this resort. I manage a 392-unit multi-family luxury community and I've always stated to my employees, you only get one chance to make a positive first impression with that being said I will never visit a Grand Park resort.

We are at The Oriental Alexander was a great server. He came over immediately and didn’t hesitate to get everything we asked for. Guadalupe was also an excellent host. She found our reservation and seated us right away. German was also a great helper. Overall the service from all 3 was superb and made the experience for our first night wonderful.

Our server Louise was great. They made sure we had what we needed and got the things we asked for quickly. The food was good. I had the garlic shrimp and the stuffed chicken with rice. It was a bit spicy for me, but I like no spice what so ever. Presentation on all of the plates was beautiful!

Best hotel I’ve been to in Cancun so far. The staff is so accommodating and nice they make you feel right at home. I have no complaints whatsoever. For couples and families it’s perfect. I think the Mexican restaurant has the best food and staff. Carlos our waiter tonight was superb. If you come make sure you order the baby shark appetizer.

The resort was beautiful and super clean. Ignacio from the bar was the most fun & experienced bartender...ask for a rainbow shot. Alejandro and Ivan from the cafe/buffet were the best waiters and always made sure we had everything we needed. All of the workers at this resort deserve a raise! The location is perfect and we were able to walk to la isla mall when we turned left and to smaller souvenir shops and more authentic food when we turned right. There were shows every night that didn’t disappoint and free room service once a day. 100% recommend!!
