“In DC for a conference, so the location next to the Convention Center is perfect. The tunnel allows for rapid access and no rain or weather issues. The staff are wonderful and always helpful. The lobby is gorgeous with plenty of places to meet up. For the price at a flagship hotel though, the room is just average and although clean looking, the shower smells strongly of mold. The bed's acceptable, but with very flat pillows. The lack of soundproofing is the biggest negative, however. Every night there are multiple sirens and quite loud traffic noises, disrupting sleep. Several others in our group have the same complaint. I've frequently stayed in rooms overlooking roads and highways, but rarely experienced this level of noise.”

“Simply the best experience I've had at a hotel.The staff is absolutely amazing!They are so attentive and caring.I've never been so well taken care of.I left yesterday and I'm in nice hotel,but I miss the service at the Marquis. It's so rare anymore to receive accommodations or services where you genuinely feel cared for.The best!”
