“I stayed here 4 years ago and felt like I had a more magical experience than this go -around. The pros: the grounds are lovely, the beach is calm and beautiful. there are plenty of pools with lots of chairs, I enjoyed the exercise classes. The cons: housekeeping never came one day, and for the price you are paying to stay here in a villa, no service should be overlooked. The next day we had a plate of pastries on the counter for breakfast which housekeeping threw away before we got to eat them for breakfast. The guy at the towel hut was difficult about how we didn't have our towel card, which was never explained to us at check in. No one told us about a towel card tucked in amongst the room keys. We were given our VIP package of coupons and when I did the online reservation for the airport private lounge club perk, I was immediately called back to say, "sorry, it's full, you can't use it." The rooms are looking pretty dated at this point. Overall, the stay lacked a little luster as when I was here 4 years ago.”

“Sadly this will be my last stay here. Unfortunately we are here until Sunday.
Issues:
1. Upon arrival bellhops stood there and watched us struggle with luggage. Made eye contact then one person decided to ask if we wanted a cart. I had a $20 bill in my hand for a tip. We have a lot of luggage.
2. Stepped into room onto a gritty/sandy floor.
3. Kleenex box had been filled with the leftover napkins from several other rooms. That is unsanitary and disgusting! Some of the pieces had nail prints from housekeeping stuffing the unused portions of Kleenex in the box.
4. I always bring Clorox wipes, and boy I’m glad I did. The light kit from Amazon showed copious amounts of bodily fluid on the counters, floor, and around toilet. I did a DEEP cleaning.
5. I am well traveled, and am used to being stared at as a black woman. One of the employees followed me today until I stopped and stared her down. She wanted to make sure I am a registered guest.
—Registered? Yes
—Guest? No. I don’t feel like a guest.
The Four Seasons would NEVER treat me like this.
Hopefully the next three days will be better.”
