“The only reason to say is ok and a one star is the hotel staff. They were nice, attentive, and courteous. The hotel itself is dated and it shows it everywhere. The lobby and furniture within gives you a sense of what is to come. The guest elevator call button is loose and the elevator itself gives you the feeling that it may stop working at any time.
If you get a reservation in this hotel avoid at all cost room 842. I arrived to the hotel a little late with a turnaround the following morning after picking up my grandson. When I entered the room about 9 pm, the first ting that hit me was the musty smell of a mixture of sweat and feet. I am not sure where it was coming from but definitely not me. Whomever was staying there maybe for days needed some serious personal hygiene and the room need it some deodorizer. Furniture as well was dated and the bed uncomfortable. I could have gone and ask for another room or move to a different hotel. I was too tired to do either.
Sadly, this is not my first rodeo with a disappointing Hilton hotel. This is at least the third time in a little over year. Hilton seems to have given up on maintaining their hotels or at least giving the semblance that they care.”

“An oasis in a rough part of town. Close to the airport, but a hike from the rental car center. I arrived at the hotel about 2am and discovered the front door was locked and realized it was for security purposes. I admit it, I’m a bit of a country mouse so when I encounter something like this red flags go up. All was good though and the hotel and room was warm and inviting.
I needed to get up early and when I hopped into the shower there was no hot water, as you can imagine that was a bit of a bummer. It wasn’t cold, more like lukewarm. I meant to say something to the front desk but totally forgot as I was in a rush to pick up my sister at the airport. Later on, I received a text message from the hotel checking in to make sure everything was ok, and I then told them about the problem with the shower. The manager apologized and gave me extra membership points which was totally unnecessary.
All in all, I had a nice stay, albeit a short one, and I’d consider staying there if passing through Phoenix again. It was pretty much everything you could ask for in a hotel. Thank you for the hospitality!”
