Hotel maravilhoso. Todas as pessoas são muito simpáticas, desde a recepção, restaurantes, animadores, senhora da limpeza, todos. A animação é espetacular (yoga, pilates, andar de bicicleta, aqua Gym, muitas atividades para as crianças, discoteca silenciosa, etc). O hotel situa-se numa gênero de condomínio fechado, onde existem 3 hoteis. Os restaurantes temáticos podem ser usados por todos os clientes dos 3 hoteis. Para mim o melhor é o mexicano. No restaurante têm comidas sem glúten, e ajudam sempre que perguntei pelos produtos devido às minhas alergias. Reservamos um quarto plus. Tinha vista mar,bonito, com boas instalações, cama confortável, e não era muito longe nem da praia/ piscina nem do restaurante. Vila 3. O hotel tem 3 zonas com piscinas e ainda uma piscina externa (acesso público) onde se pode nadar com golfinhos. Não gostei muito de ver os pobres golfinhos a viver nestas condições. Jardins bonitos, bem mantidos, e com muitos animais. Tem parque de estacionamento gratuito no caso de alugar carro. Tem ginásio. Tem sempre muitos carrinhos de Golf a passar para o caso de querer boleia até ao quarto. A praia tinha muito sargaço, mas isso é um problema na zona e não do hotel. Mesmo assim, estavam sempre a limpar a praia. O hotel fica a poucos km de Tulum praia, mas as estradas são um pouco caóticas, é preciso sempre meia hora para lá chegar. Alugamos carro, mas disseram me que um táxi até Tulum centro são 50 dólares. Tem lojas, farmácia e posto médico.

Nuestra experiencia como familia por primera vez en este hotel fue una decepción. La habitación que nos asignaron al llegar (33507) tenía mucho olor a humedad, las sábanas sucias, la grifería sucia y en mal estado (oxidada), la bañera fuera de uso porque le faltaban piezas elementales (como un tapón), un artefacto de luz caído, y un estado general sin mantenimiento. Al cambiarnos a otra habitación (33501) nos encontramos la pared del baño escrita, el balcón sin luz, los vidrios del balcón sucios, el teléfono que no funcionaba ni tampoco la aplicación de Netflix en el televisor. Hoy nos estamos yendo del Hotel sin que hayan resuelto lo que reclamamos y encima el Servicio de Atención al Huésped nos llamó por teléfono para disculparse porque nos correspondía una habitación renovada del hotel que no nos dieron, pero tampoco nos ofrecieron ninguna solución. Por encima de todos esos inconvenientes, el Hotel no tiene una buena playa: está llena de rocas y sargazos, no te podes meter. No volvería a este Hotel ni se lo recomendaría a nadie.

Es un complejo de 3 Hoteles, nos hospedamos en el Akumal, pero puedes hacer uso de las instalaciones del Coba y Tulum si gustas. Es hermoso, lindos Jardines para dar paseos matutinos y muy linda la Playa, aunque hay sargazo con el esfuerzo de personal la mantienen muy Limpia. Los alimentos excelentes y el personal TODO siempre Amable yatento a lo que uno les solicita. 😉

Eduardo, Erika, Naomi and Brenda were all incredibly friendly and kind! We met them at the pool and they invited us to play water polo and bingo. The entire entertainment team was friendly and attentive. Their energy was great. We loved our stay. Good food options, and our room was beautiful. Clean! Loved our view from the patio. Highly recommend. Would love to come back for another visit!

La primera vez que viajamos a la Riviera Maya y genial. Muy buenas instalaciones, el personal muy atento y amables sobre todo el equipo de animación nos hacían la estancia mucho más entretenida, divertidas clases de baile con Diana y buenos juegos. El único pero es que las piscinas y bares del alrededor cierran muy temprano 6 de la tarde. En general personal inmejorable excepto los camareros de la piscina que a veces no te ponían lo que pedías te decían que solo cerveza

Muy cómodo! Sobre todo tener la pileta junto a la playa, tener barra libre y comedores todo el tiempo (quizás ayudó la pulserita Gold). Muy lindo poder entrar a los tres hoteles de Bahía Príncipe y que el traslado sea cada 10 minutos y gratuito!

Todo excelente. Mi estancia la tuve sin ningún problema. Buen transporte, comida y animación, además de que se te permite ingresar y visitar a los demás complejos. La playa tenía sargazo y la única zona limpia es la del bahía príncipe Akumal.

I want to start this review saying that I recommend this place 100%. Best experience starting with our check in all the way to our check out. As soon as we arrived at the resort we had a warm welcome everyone so polite andattentive. Our check in took less than 15-20 min. Our room was so clean with the best accommodations. We had dinner at Tequilas restaurant on our first night and everyone there same very polite and welcoming. Our experience at the buffet was greatI want to thank Rodolfo and Victor for the special treat to my family and I. Hire more people like them👍. On our third night we had dinner at Le Gourmet Restaurant and the host was amazing from start to end. Eddy our waiter was excellent 👌 very polite and attentive as well. Jorge one of the waiters at the food truck was so great every time. The pool areas amazing for adults and kids with alot of activities. The beach was clean and very accessible. Thank you to each and one of the staff for being so great to my family and I. We will definitely visit this place in the future. I might be missing some names and experiences but like I said everything was amazing 👏.

Bahia Principe Grand Tulum is located in the Beautiful setting right on the beach! Great selection of 3 pools - each catered to different audience and needs- “adults only like” chilled crowd, families with small kids (with great water park right there!) or college kids/youth crowd. We came with 7yo daughter who was obsessed with their “kids club” and spent every day - 9-5pm there! This offered us parents a priceless opportunity to have time for ourselves to just relax and be… all the stuff in the Kids Club are simply incredible, warm, talented young people who are amazing at engaging kids of all ages!!! Almost every night they put out a beautiful show with kids- like Moana, Frozen and alike! Aside from that there was nightly entertainment for adults with amazing music like 80s night, music of Queen, Latin music… always fun communal dancing:relaxing on the terrace at the center of the resort! Food was pretty good in the buffet too. We only made it to 2 restaurants but they were great! Staff there always attentive, helpful and super hardworking!! Resort is spread on a wide territory but there are always little shuttles driving around offering to drop you off anywhere you want. Highly recommend this resort!

I was disappointed. We stayed 8 days and 7 nights. It was too difficult to get into any of the restaurants. The majority of the selections were never available. Plan to eat the buffet majority of your stay. On one of our last nights, we decided to ride into town and eat at a local restaurant as a group. Transportation was organized by the hotel to help accommodate us as a larger group. Two vans were scheduled to pick us up. We were told the price for a ride to and from dinner would be $220 round trip. Once arriving back we were told we needed to pay $630. The gentleman at the valet told us the guy who gave us the price of $220 had gone home. When in fact he was still at the hotel. He came outside and said he said he told us $400. The 2 on-site managers came out. They said they couldn’t do anything and would talk with the employee. This tripled our cost for a 40min ride into the town of Tulum. One of the managers proceeded to laugh about the incident. It was very upsetting how the staff handled this situation. Lying about an employee not being there to collaborate on what was discussed. A manager laughing and smiling about an additional $410 mistake I feel was very unprofessional. I could go on and even name some positives but hopefully, you save your money and find another all-inclusive worth your money.

We have just returned from a 12 day stay and I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Yes the food is great with multiple gourmet dining options (booking required) and a great and varied buffet. Yes the pool and surrounding areas are also great and well kept. But what really makes this place special is the customer friendly and talented team that worked tirelessly to keep guests active and entertained. I would especially call out Perla, who runs the gym and yoga classes and was amazing. Great classes and knowledge, also super helpful. Also Erica in the entertainment team is fabulous, entertaining all through the day and giving amazing Latin dance lessons. Will definitely return, excellent vacation.

Tuvimos un pequeño problema de una gotera y nos cambiaron enseguida a una habitación superior, la chica que estaba de encargada muy amable y gestionó todo perfecto. La mujer del spa Nancy, unas manos increíbles! La comida es lo único que mejoraríamos, hay mucho frito y a veces no nos sentaba muy bien, pero la oferta era muy amplia. Ya es más cuestión de gustos…

Y también vemos un crimen q tengan a 4 delfines en una piscina toda su vida encerrados en una piscina de apenas 4 metros para esplotarlos por sacar dinero. No lo veo justo los animales están mejor en su habita. Y no encerrados en una piscina.

Unfortunately the management does nothing to enforce the pandemic rules on the guests, so you have hundreds of people flaunting the rules and walking around inside without masks.The workers are friendly, most of the food is excellent and in general it's a fun place to be.My whole vacation here was great and would have been five stars until I tested positive. Once that happens, you're isolated and treated as a burden instead of a guest.You'll be relocated to a deteriorating room that they wouldn't be able to give away. There are bugs all over the place in mine and a layer of grease on the floor somehow. One of the weirdest things is that there are no blinds to be closed so anyone can look into your room and you have no privacy.They deliver three cold meals a day to you. The front desk reluctantly took my calls and they actually refused to acknowledge that my cold food was an issue, saying that's how it's supposed to be served. To their credit the food is varied each day and would probably be great if it arrived hot or even warm. When you're stuck in a room by yourself all day, the meals are kind of a high point and it's so disappointing to be greeted with food like that.

I spent here amazing time everything was excellent. The food was delicious especially the Don Pablo restaurant, the Yucatan buffet is also so good you can eat every cuisine you like and there is also place with food for kids. Shows in the theater are really beautiful and the best one is Origen i recommend to everyone. I would like to say something about the best entertainment team ever. 🤩 All of them are so friendly and funny. Surely no one will be bored with them here. The foam party was extra. For sure i will come back to this hotel. I really recommend to everyone!😁

Grand Bahia Principe Tulum is such a beautiful resort. We were here in December 2019.When we there the resort was beautiful. The area was surrounded with many trees and it felt nice to see a lot of greenery within the area.The best part of this resort was the buffet. The buffet had so many options to dine and choose from. Their food was decent at best and we certainly enjoyed it.The rooms were nice and clean and plenty of drinks and snacks that they gave us and there was beer, water and soft drinks.The check in was nice and easy and if you speak a little Spanish they will be quite impressed.Finally the beach and entertainment was really nice and amazing. The beach felt cleanalthough it is short since the water is close to the shore and you could walk from another beach to another within the resorts.Entertainment was nice as well. It was cool to see so many different acts and performances so quite awesome.I hope to see changes and improvements in the near future and hope to visit soon again.

Really enjoyed our experience. All staff follow sanitary protocols very well. Staff is friendly and helping. Layout of the resort is good. Food was very, very good. We had friends staying not far away at a "higher end" resort and they were complaining the food there wasn't good. So, we were extremely pleased to have good food throughout our stay.

This place is amazing. We had an ocean view room, and were able to catch the sunrise 🤩 The staff is very attentive, everyone is super nice and they are always asking if you need anything, catering to you. We went in September which is low season and got a great price. They have an area blocked for Turtle nesting, you can check it out from afar and nature is present here. We saw a couple different“Mexican” raccoons, even an albino one, so cool. With our stay, they included the COVID test, which was done in house in one of the buildings there. For kids, they have lots of pools, a couple water parks and they have a scouts program! And they have a good variety of restaurants and shows.

Very nice and cozy place, rooms clean and tidy correctly every day, they should only perfuse them during cleaning. The common area is always clean and tidy, including the interior, the exterior streets leading to the villas and the garden. Very nice and friendly staff, they do everything to make us feel good and welcomed. I would definitely choose Bahia Principe Grand Tulum again. Unforgettable honeymoon. We just returned from Bahia Principe Tulum all inclusive and we loved it. Service that we received was excellent. Amazing job done by Entertainment team by Angel, Edger, Diana. Spa at resorts was awesome and recommend it by Eloisa and Nereida. They did amazing job on deep tissue massage. Restaurant and buffet so clean and awesome service with great food. Japanese restaurant and Indian Thali restaurant highly recommend. Even I am vegetarian I found lots of vegetarian options for me. Steak house was amazing too. Definitely try snack food trucks. Overall everyone so friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend this place. Definitely going next year with friends and family.

So where do I start. We come here once a year and couldn’t come back fast enough when covid allowed us. After a very hard year I needed this trip so badly. Upon meeting Melanie with guest services this place has a whole new meaning to us. I never want to leave. My heart is at Bahia Tulum. Her exceptional service and amazing attitude has made this place even more special for me and my family. You can pack your vacation with tons of activities both offered through the hotel, or included in your stay. Or you can just do nothing and still have an amazing time. The staff here is incredible and bend over backwards to make sure you enjoy every minute. The newly renovated suites are incredible and worth every penny. We are already planning to come back in February and next October. If you’re looking for making incredible memories, friends and even extended family members this is the place to come. From the entertainment staff…. Alejandro, Egar, Cristian……and so many others, I have felt nothing but good vibes. I haven’t seen my 13 year old smile so much as for they love helping keep them entertained. Bartenders are amazing, shout out to Arial at the isla bar, and the food is great. Bahia Tulum is the place to be ❤️❤️❤️

Buen trato en general pero a la hora de hacer el test COVID incluido nadie del personal sabía decirme en qué transporte irme, tarde media hora en averiguarlo y aunque llegue puntual el personal del test ya no quería realizarmelo aunque tenía reservación. Muy mal el test.

Grand bahia principe was an amazing hotel. Tip: ask for everything included in the package. Like the covid test me and my family didn't know it was free with the package we bought. The staff are amazing they make you feel like family. Please leave tip for the staff they are amazing. Stay in tulum because then everything like the mayan ruins are close and the water holes and many other things like xplore which is amazing and I really suggest going there and if you are going to the watering holes i suggest headlights because for most of the watering holes are dark. And renting a car is going to save you a lot of money and you won't have to rush trust me on that.

Beautiful resort and rooms were amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful everywhere you went (literally everywhere) and the food was always changing and yummy! My husband and I went for our honeymoon but you could absolutely take a family here. It was extremely family friendly and welcoming. Beautiful pools, beaches, never too loud!

Fuimos con mi novio 8 noches desde España. Fuimos sin expectativas, temíamos por el clima, ya que es temporada de huracanes. Sin embargo, pudimos realizar snorkel, visitar isla mujeres y xichen itza. Las excursiones las contratamos desde el hotel y nos asesoraron muy bien de otras opciones para entretenernos. El hotel tiene unos animadores geniales que siempre estan motivados para que todos esten a gusto. El servicio de comida es excelente. El personal muy amable y cordial. La calidad de comida es buena, hay variedad de gustos y opciones sanas,vegetarianas y celiacas también. La limpieza es excelente. Solo los baños cercanos al lobby estaban sucios por la mañana de la noche anterior. Pero al mediodia ya estaban limpios otra vez. Los restaurantes a la carta estan bien, mejoraría el tequila mexicano que decía que era a la carta y era bufet. Esta un poco lejos del aeropuerto, lo mas cercano es Tulum a 40 minutos y playa del carmen a 1,3hs aprox. Pero en sí las distancias son largas en la Riviera Maya. Hay taxis, vans y todo bien comunicado

El personal te atiende muy bien en general, la animación justita y siempre era lo mismo. Las instalaciones son bonitas pero no está a la altura de un 5 estrellas, el espejo que colgaba estaba suelto de la pared, el aire acondicionado hace mucho ruido lo comunicamos y nos dijeron que era así y para dormir era muy difícil. La ducha el tercer día empezó a fallar y salía de repente caliente que te quemaba. Reportamos la incidencia y después de 3 días reclamando nos ofrecieron cambio de habitación, nos quedaba solo un día en el hotel, cosa que no aceptamos ya que era en la otra punta del hotel. En compensación nos regalaron un masaje en el spa (muy bien)pero en un hotel 5 estrellas estas incidencias te la deben solucionar al momento. La limpieza de la habitación regular la puerta del baño no la limpiaron en toda la estadía ya que era de cristal y se veía. El gel de ducha dos días lo tuvimos que reclamarparaque nos lo den. No lo recomiendo por su precio, esta lejos de ser un 5 estrellas.

We were pretty nervous after reading some recent reviews of workers stealing money from safes until we met a couple that had been to many Bahia Principe resorts, including Grand Tulum multiple times, that informed us those reviews are a scam for people to get their trip reimbursed. Rest assured, this place is great, clean, safe, fun, and everyone was incredibly friendly to us then entire week we were there. You get what you give in any resort. If you treat people with respect, you are respected in return. We speak only a little Spanish and every worker was able to communicate with us just fine. The room was super clean and felt new. We didn’t have any bugs. We have been to quite a few all inclusives around the world and the buffet at Grand Tulum was one of the best we’ve seen. It was clean and there was always something fresh available. We booked scuba diving right on the resort where Victor gave us some great recommendations for diving which ended up being absolutely incredible. Origin was also amazing! We would definitely recommend this resort.

Para um hotel de 5 estrelas, ha uma enorme falta de controlo das pessoas que se alojam na piscina, com colunas a dar música muito alto e a tirarem as toalhas das espreguiçadeiras dos outros. Houve também uma ocasião em que nos levantámos para ir ao restaurante ao lado da piscina e, quando voltámos para o nosso lugar, tinham mandado os nossos pretences para o chão e ocupado os lugares. Os bares fecham demasiado cedo.

Our visit from Tuesday June 29 til Tuesday July 6. Overall the resort is clean, food is excellent, with one exception, make sure you check what restaurants are a la carte, staff from the front desks, need to smile more, be friendlier and have empathy toward family with children! Now, the entertainment staff, that’s a different world, we brought sweet memories. Thank you, Rafael, Miguel, Diana, Andrea, Nestor, Angel, for checking on all of us, so that we were enjoying, music, drinks and activities! To all drivers on the hotel transportation, thank you for being so friendly and courteous! The beach was a bit rough, with the usual season seaweed, they tried to clean as much every day! Make sure you plan transportation round trip, is safer and being planned, gets you on time! It was a great stay 👏👍🏼❤️

If I could leave negative stars I would. We will never stay here again. All the fruit drinks had a YUCK after taste like bubble gum medicine. When we asked about it they said it was the liquid sweetener that was used.. no other place when we would leave the resort had that issue. The food was mediocre frozen TV dinner quality at best and the beaches were unusable. The rental car company on site is a scam also. Make sure to take pictures and videos of the inside and outside of the vehicle you rent so they don't try to charge you for some damage that was already there. They literally tried to charge me for a broken plastic on a seat belt buckle in the back seat we never even used! A trip we hope to forget and never speak about again.

Disappointing experience… a vacation we will hopefully soon forget! Bahia Principe left us standing for 3 hours in the scorching sun, nowhere to sit, no water, no bathrooms for the transfer to the Bahia Principe. It took four walks back and forth to the reception at check in to at least get one of our room keys to work. The place in itself is nice but despite all their smiles and sweet talk they fail to provide a reasonable vacation experience. Will definitely never go back there. For folks that do decide to book: do NOT book the hotel transfer service; there are plenty more better alternatives online for a more reasonable price

Highly recommend you check this place out. The weather here is amazing of course but the resort is fantastic. Pools are immaculate. Rooms and bedding were very good. Service was great. Food is decent but it won’t be the most amazing thing. It shouldn’t deter you from enjoying the great beach and coves. Not far from the protected sea turtle areas which is totally worth the visit.

Não fiquei nesse, fiquei no Akumalque está dentro do mesmo complexo e usamos os serviços de alimentação que estava muito boa!! Alem disso o hotel fok todo renovado em Nov/2020 e esta muito bonito!

The worst ever, completely over price for no reason. No idea where they get their rating. Their food has that refrigerated after taste. In The main restaurant it looks like it’s frozen and reheated.They will knock on my door every morning to confirm if the room was vacant or not??!!! Very confusing, I felt as if house keeping did not have a Roster where they can see what rooms are vacant. The hotel consist of villas and usually there will be golf carts that would “take you back to you villa” .... hardly ever happen, I was able to use it a number of 3 times during my 7 day trip. You will see the workers around driving it and will not offer rides back to you room neither the main lobby. The beach does not look like the ones in the picture. It’s completely dirty full of seaweed. The resort has a total of 3-5 restaurants which I will rate them at 1 star. Food can be better !! Found a bug in one of my cups and there will birds flying into the main restaurant where the birds will be Pickering on peoples foods while they run back to the buffet to get more to eat. DO NOT BOOK HERE, waste of money !! Do more research and stay somewhere else.

Fantastic holiday, met some nice people who become true friends, staff are amazing and go beyond their role to be sure everything taken care of that you needed help with. Hassienda great and a certain member of staff become a good friend. Just a shame it came to an end. The hotel was nice but I wouldn't class it as a 4 star plus, more like a 3 star. Food was by the plentiful, Carlos and gum in restaurant are two great blokes. They do anything for you. I'd give it a 5 star if the hotel was an actual 5 star

Boas instalações, bons restaurantes (variedade e opções saudáveis) Ponto menos positivo para os quartos, pelo ruído que se faz sentir (das máquinas de ar acondicionado, máquinas dos restaurantes e das piscinas) não proporcionando noites de pleno descanso. The resort itself was quite pretty but the experience was almost not worth our time. The room was nothing like the photos we had seen on the website, there was black mold everywhere in the bathroom including where water was spraying out of our shower head, and the room looked like someone before us had smashed around in the room creating noticeable damage almost everywhere. There was even a large crack in the sink and vanity counter in the bathroom. When we asked to be moved to a new room the lady at the reception desk acted like these concerns were completely normal and acceptable. We did not feel like any of the employees cared how our experience was either than a few gentlemen at the buffet. Almost no one gave us their full attention, they were either on their personal phone (only a couple times saw this) or chatting with other employees instead of helping us properly. The food selection was good but the majority of it was lacking flavor and seasoning. None of the drinks from the bars ever tasted the same. One drink would be more sweet than the previous, the other was almost straight alcohol, the other had a new ingredient/garnish in it, I’d ask for a drink on the rocks and get it blended, etc. basically you’d ask for the same drink you got last time and it was a completely different drink this time. Booking for our a la carte dinners was a bit annoying, there were no times available for the restaurants we wanted and the times available for others restaurants were so late we didn’t even end up making it to our reservations. (Do people seriously eat dinner at 10:30PM by choice??) All in all we were glad to have gotten away for a bit of a holiday but after our week at the resort we were done and wanted to go home. After our experience, I personally would not recommend this specific resort and would seriously caution anyone booking at another affiliated resort.

Nice clean room, good food with options for most food preferences. Pools and beaches were great. Longish beach walks are an option. The carts to get around the resort are great. Lots to do all the time.

This place was hit and miss. The food was terrible, so much food but all terrible quality. Should scale down a bit and make what they have available, edible. The beaches were maintained well of seaweed, workers put in full days cleaning. We found a little lizard in our room, whom we captured and released outside. We believe it got in due to our sliding glass door not sealing properly. The gardens were lovely and well maintained and the staff was pleasant and in good spirits.

Everyone here worked incredibly hard to deliver exactly what they advertised - a fun and happy, affordable, all-inclusive holiday with lots of pools, coastline and a range of restaurants. Sure, there are more boutique sites but for us, this was exactly what we were after and extremely good value for money booking fairly last minute on a package deal. Beautiful part of the world and lovely people, food and weather. If I had to give some constructive feedback or a warning to anyone going, I'd say that whilst I went there to go outside and enjoy things I didn't mind too much about the room but for people who care more about a luxury accommodation, I would say it was "fine". Everything was cleaned down and kept nice for us but it wasn't premium - the TV remote didn't work, some drawers didn't open, the air con was a bit rattly at times, cups didn't fit saucers, fabrics were a bit tired. As far as I was concerned I slept well, was comfortable and had plenty of space but in case anyone takes 5 stars as meaning super lux, potentially check out some other reviews just to make sure you manage your expectations.

Honeymoon in paradise. The setting was simply beautiful. The room was very comfortable, clean and well air conditioned. The room was 1 minute from the beach and several swimming pools. The food was exceptional. The staff were so friendly, worked so hard and couldn't do enough for you. The entertainment was very enjoyable. The complex was massive and you could eat in and enjoy the facilities of several hotels if all inclusive like us. The hotels were connected by a superb trolley bus service which was very frequent and ran until 2 am. Highly recommended.
