FERNANDA. My favorite person from the resort. The drinks were amazing and Fernanda, Jorge, Raul were also amazing. Great customer service and very attentive to our table. Came back to them specifically to spend time with them. ❤️

Absolutely amazing relaxing Resort. The Staff was always gracious and willing to go above and beyond to make sure you were taken care of. The events planned were fun and the room was always clean after coming back. The best part of the resort is the way that it was created around the jungle which gives it a very natural and relaxing feel. If there is anything I would recommend would be posted times for the restaurants before entering and allowing people to reserve with a QR code outside of the restaurant. It would make it less confusing to know what times food is available.

Good relaxing place they look after their guest and make sure you get the best value when you leave the premises ask them at the dest . Food is good but drinks are a little weak but it’s really a good thing because you drink all day your gold .. walk down the beach to the local bar it’s awesome. Usually have a band and good food and drinks. Ice is filtered and water is filtered i and eight other people had no problem. Really enjoy the place people are very friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable but I think I just used them to pass out in …lol … going back. Oh ya don’t pay for a transfer from airport to them call them and they can have a taxi there for you for same price. Enjoy have fun … I never give five stars

This was our first time visiting Mexico and the stay at Catalonia was absolutely incredible. The staff were all so friendly and lovely , they went over and above for us. The food was great, lots of choice between different cuisines. In particular rauxa was brilliant as there was live entertainment during the meal. The entertainment team were amazing!! So fun.. vibrant and kept us all laughing the whole time. We have to say that Diego and Johnny the reps went over and above to make our stay enjoyable. The whole trip was just unbelievable and we will definitely come back!!

Let me begin by saying I’m currently staying here for the second time and this is by no means a 5 star resort. This is my honest review:1) rooms: fine, spacious. I liked the beds also. Very clean. 2) service: good (although a bit slow) at b loved. It isn’t bad in general, just slow and spotty, specially on the pool and beach areas where you can wait for a drink for 30 minutes. 3) check in: this was the worst. It was 2:50pm and they said rooms weren’t ready and that we should go have lunch. We did and tried to check in again at 4:30 pm and rooms weren’t ready either. The woman at the front desk had a bit of an attitude. 4) Beach: there’s sargazo (seaweed) everywhere and it made the beach inaccessible. This was a huge disappointment. The hotel staff do their best cleaning this but it’s not enough. I won’t be returning here during seaweed season because I saw more expensive hotels who do clean it completely and guests can still use the beach. 5) Pool: nice but hard to find a chair. People seem to reserve seats at 7am and never leave them. 6) food: not great, except at B Loved. B loved is only for privileged and exclusive guests and it’s amazing. We even got a special treatment from servers because they remembered us from a previous trip. 7) cleanliness: overall a very clean resort, no complains hereOverall a decent but not a 5-star experience. Probably not returning.

I’ve never stayed at an all-inclusive resort so I went in with high expectations.This resort exceeding them.The room was great! Comfortable bed,spacious,great shower, and comfortable temperature. Really enjoyed the food! Bloved was so good! The customer service was above and beyond. The pool and beach were awesome!! Can’t wait to go back!

El hotel estarodeado de una bella vegetacion, hay un cenote, la playa hermosa, a pesar de las algas por el calentamiento global, pero q la gente encargada del hotel se dedica mantenerla limpia, no entorpece su belleza. El servicio de limpieza, el del restaurante, y el del buffete son magnificos. Cabe destacar a las personas que trabajan alli, con un sueldo bastante bajo para mi pensamiento,ya que dedican su tarea siempre con una sonrisa y muy buena actitud, haciendo que la estadia sea aun mejor, entre ellos estan, QUETZABEL,YENNY,CARLOS, CANDY mchos mas como el de cocina muy buenos cheff. Restaurante Tapas es mi preferido, Grill and Steak esta muy bien, Asian con su espectaculo muy bueno,. Y en el grupo de entretenimiento todos muy buenos,DIEGO, JHONNY, GINO, ANA, GABY y si me olvido de alguno, sorry. Gracias totales por los hermosos cuatros dias que pasamos mi marido y yo.

El hotel es precioso, rodeado de naturaleza. La piscina y la playa están genial (ojo con la época del sargazo, que aunque lo intentan quitar hay siempre algo, pero no es culpa de nadie). El desayuno espectacular y los acomodadores eran maravillosos.La comida buffet es mejorable. Los restaurantes son normalitos, pero se come decente.Por último, el equipo de animación que son encantadores (Diego, Gonzalo, Giorgina y todos los demás).

It is not a 5 star resort and 4 is pushing it. Food took this down. Also need to offset these other reviews talking about food quality. Beach: amazing and what you imagine Cancun to be like Staff: amazing and friendly Walk / Scenery: fantastic forest cover and boardwalk from room to the beach. It is not a far walk 400 meters max Food: Not good. The best thing is the lunch buffet where you can make your own Mexican plate for lunch. Tried 4/5 restaurants and all of them missed. Italian was the worst unfortunately with the pasta dishes. Trying to do too much and consequence is nothing was good. Chicken wings at the pool bar, make your own Mexican lunch and mashed potatoes at the grille are the best items.

La atención del personal es de primera, desde el recibimiento por parte del depto. De botones, Orlando en la recepción. La atención por parte de los recepcionista en el SPA Selene. Y la señorita Quetzabel que nos recibió en el restaurante de una manera magnífica. Muy bonitas instalaciones,comidas y bebidas excelentes. también el chico Abzaidel en bares que estuvo pendiente de nosotros. Gracias especiales al jefe de recepción Ezequiel y a todo su equipo. Un día espléndido.

BUFFET HORRIBLE. Personal muy amable y atento, limpieza del hotel buena, menos de las toallas, hotel bonito y cuidado y playa bonita.. pero la comida muy mal. No hay variedad en el buffet, la comida tampoco es de calidad.. fue una total decepción, ya que hemos estsdo varias veces en cancún en otros resort y sabemos que es lo hay, y si buscas un buen buffet no es esta la opción. El snack bar tambiénfatal, muy poca variedad. En cuánto a los restaurantes somo probamos el italiano y no estaba mal. Espero para futuros huéspedes que se mejoren dichas deficiencias porque es una pena ir de tan lejos para tal decepción,siendo un hotel de 5 estrellas. Gracias.

Para destacar la atención de todo el personal, especialmente Quetzabel en restaurante de playa; magnifica profesional, Felicitaciones !!!! Sugerencia: actualizar ambientación de restaurantes temáticos y mejorar las propuestas gastronómicas. Mis saludos cordiales.

Had the privileged package, was completely worth the money. Best hotel I have ever visited. Lovely place, very clean. Many restaurants, definitely can recommend the Rauxa Show. Animation all the day but not intrusive. Fast and very good service, also at the beach. Loved our stay and will definitely come again.

El hotel disminuyó la calidad de sus servicios en todo aspecto luego de la pandemia. Venimos con mi marido desde hace varios años y no volveremos. La comida deficiente, el buffet desastroso. Dejan a un solo barman para atender a más de 50 personas. Lo mismo pasa con los meseros. Uno para 10 mesas. No volveremos nunca más

The staff couldn't have been better. The rooms were nice and kept clean by staff daily, really missed not having a view from the balcony. The jungle canopy got old real quick. The choice of restaurants were nice but the food in all of them were ok at best, our group was a bit disappointed in that. Cocktails ordered at the several were good but communication barriers made it to where you never really know what you were going to get.

Hotel com excelentes condições e com empregados muitos simpáticos. O hotel dispõe de uma natureza linda e calma com animais muito queridos em todos os jardins, quartos muito bonitos, espaçosos e limpos, muita variedade de alimentos e bebidas com boa qualidade e um espaço praia/piscina divinal. A praia para além de ser muito bonita, de areia branca e água quente, ainda tem vários recifes mesmo em frente ao hotel onde se pode fazer snorkeling e ver os lindos corais e toda a vida marinha ali existente. Excelente experiência!

Me la pase súper lindo súper relajada todo muy lindo, todos muy atentos sobre todo destacaron los chicos de los bares “william en todo momento muy atento y muy servicial, wilver que prepara unos jugos riquísimos, les recomiendo el jugo llamado “aire” es muy bueno muy rico,” la atención por parte de los chicos y una chica del snack hago mención a otro llamado william y a Ester, que nos atendieron súper bien, nos encantó todo la comida en los restaurantes, los jugos del bar, todo de maravilla, sin duda volveremos.

El trato más que excelente, todos los trabajadores un 10. Nos sentimos especiales durante toda la estancia. Con cada cosa que necesitamos. Cuidaron cada detalle. La cena en la playa fue la guinda al pastel, con todo cuidado y con el trato que les caracteriza. Ya pensamos en volver. Gracias por hacer de este viaje un sueño. No dejéis de probar los margaritas de mango!

This is our second time here and we had a special request of a food we had in the past that they don’t serve anymore. They offered to make it from scratch for us if we came back the next day. We showed up and they had the best entrée we have had while we were here. Special thanks to Esther, Alberto, Lorena, and Jhoni. They go above and beyond to make sure their guests are happy and have a great experience.

En conjunto lo más destacable del hotel es su personal que hace de la estancia algo único e inolvidable. Desde el servicio de habitaciones, pasando por la animación, camareros (Marisa, Joel, Abesaid) en el servicio de restaurantes (Amado, Quetzabel) y me dejo nombres porque debería poner el listado completo. Todas las personas que nos han atendido lo han hecho con un gran entusiasmo e interés, y de manera totalmente profesional y correctísima. Un diez a la selección de personal. En otros hoteles si no das propinas no te atienden bien. En este hotel el trato es inmejorable. La comida excelente, todos los restaurantes a la altura, un gran servicio y comida variada y de calidad, Otra cosa son los gustos personales de cada uno, para mi La Selva Grill, perfecta, seguida del Español y los demás, pero como he dicho todos a la altura. El buffet muy bueno y variado la fruta buenísima y los postres tambien. Entre comida internacional (las hamburguesas de res (hechas en el momento), ensaladas, pescados, carnes) y comida mexicana (sopa de lima, nachos, tacos, cochinita pibil, pollo, etc) abundante y que te permite probar un montón de platos, Tortitas a la carta recién hechas. Otra cosa es que todos los dias comas de todo, entonces claro...acabas repitiendo ;) porque comer y desayunar a menos de 30 metros del mar, no tiene precio. La oferta de restauración es equilibrada y completa a la altura de un todo incluido de gran calidad. Las habitaciones amplias y limpísimas, con gran atención por el personal. No faltó ni un detalle. La limpieza de las instalaciones es otro aspecto a destacar. En la concepción del hotel completamente integrado entre la jungla y el Manglar, con las especies vegetales y animales identificadas, un diez al paisajismo, intimo, recogido y respetuoso un paseo desde el lobby hasta la piscina te hace sentir un placer unico, comenzando por el puente sobre un cenote vas caminado y parece que estás solo, no hay ruidos fuertes y cuando te cruzas con otros huéspedes casi te sorprendes. El final del paseo a través del manglar llega a la piscina con una pequeñita subidilla y un giro que hace que la llegada a la piscina sea sorprendente. Socorristas y servicios de hamacas en playa, siempre pendientes de todo. A pesar de estar el hotel casi lleno, había espacio y tumbonas para más del doble de los que estábamos, ni una sola cola, y en caso de espera un día nos dieron avisadores para que pudiéramos disfrutar del hotel. La política de no reservas (excepto en el Rauxa) la considero acertadísima, el primero que llega es el primero es el que entra, no como en otros sitios en los que los “avispados” reservan y luego no van, privando al resto de clientes de la opción de entrar. De este modo puedes ir improvisando tu día con total libertad. Es un hotel pequeño (288 habitaciones) con espacio y servicios de un hotel con más del doble de capacidad. Eso en estos tiempos es un lujo impagable. El Rauxa merece un apartado aparte. Es una gran espectáculo con acrobacia y DJ en directo (un diez para ambos) animado por Paul, no cuento más porque es mejor dejarse sorprender, merece la pena reservar y entrar a la cena temprano. Para terminar en la piscina por la noche tomando algunas copas y con música. Por último el Lobby el personal del mismo nuevamente de 10, conserjes y porta equipajes, correctos, diligentes, café y tés y bebidas de agua con limón o kiwi, pastas y por la tarde pequeños sándwiches, algo imposible en un hotel que no sea sólo adultos. Si no tienes hijos o son mayores de edad no lo dudes. Volveré seguro lo antes posible para volver a sentirme como estos dias pasados.

Ok but definitely not 5 stars.1) Hotel grounds: very nice, the beach is great and and the beach area as well. The pool is big and the walk to the lobby/restaurants is like walking through nature. Just very nice with lots of animals around as well. 5 stars here.2) Rooms; we stayed in a Premium room which are generally nice and renovated. Size is ok but the bed was old and not good. The door does not isolate well at all and actually had a small hole on top through which entered light and wind. There are no rooms with ocean view in this hotel which is a pity. 2-3 stars for the room.3) Food: varies a lot. Breakfast is good with lots of variety but the rest of the food, both lunch and dinner were average at best. We tried the Italian twice (pasta arrabiata probably the spiciest I had and I like spicy; the alfredo pasta was one of the worst I have had), the Grill (octupus was good, steak - dont have your hopes up top high); Mexican: here I had my hopes up given we were in Mexico but the food was simply not good). 3 stars for the food even considering its all inclusive.4) Service: personnel was very helpful throughout and very kind, especially in the dinner restaurants but also elsewhere; not 5 stars though either. 4 stars here.5) One of the things I disliked the most was the loud music by the pool throughout the day. If you just want to relax and have a quiet time reading your book - forget it, the music is way too loud. The pool is full of people getting drunk at the bar and if thats what your aim for your holidays is definitely go, you will have a great time. Its an adults only hotel and I understand thats what some people think of a “great holiday”. Definitely not in my case. Luckily the music does not reach the room.

O hotel é lindo e muito sossegado. Numa área de visual incrível. Tive alguns problemas com a manutenção do meu quarto, que demoraram 2 dias para resolverem. O serviço não faz jus com o padrão do hotel. O restaurante Beloved é muito gostoso e está de frente para a praia.

Una decepción absoluta, no merece las 5 estrellas. Lo peor es la gastronomía, y lo puedo decir con criterio porque me dedico a este sector: un restaurante español que es cualquier cosa menos español, un japonés que sirve comida congelada y de mala calidad, una carta de vinos de pago extensa donde luego solo tienen un par de referencias, servicio caótico y desorganizado, se olvidaban las comandas o las traían mal contínuamente, a veces iban muy lentos y otras tan rápido que traían todos los platos a la vez, muchas veces no tenían las bebidas frías antes de empezar el servicio, no se sabían la carta ("¿de qué sabor es el helado?... Es blanco". A ese nivel).Luego el chico del hotel que vendía excursiones junto a la recepción parecía que no quería trabajar porque preguntamos una vez por Holbox y nos dijo que estaba cerrado por el covid y no se podia ir, pero había una posibilidad de ir en barco por 900$. Fuimos con otra agencia y por supuesto que se puede visitar (además es precioso).El servicio de habitaciones a veces rellenaba el minibar y a veces no, igual que los amenities del baño. Debían ir con mucha prisa porque una vez se olvidaron el trapo de limpiar dentro.Luego para pedir cualquier cosa parecía una ginkana: esto lo tienes que pedir en recepción, esto al roomservice, esto solo por las mañanas, esto antes de las 17h... No es lo que se espera de un hotel con 5 estrellas.Por supuesto, todo esto lo comentamos allí mismo, a la responsabe de atención al cliente, a algunos cameros y al chico encargado del entretenimiento, que nos lo preguntó.A favor mencionaré a Araceli, una chica encantadora que servía la comida y bebida en la playa, y al equipo de Bloved, el mejor restaurante de todos.

Very good and comfortable location-in the middle of the way between Cancun and Tulum. We rented a car from the Cancun airport, therefore it was comfortable to reach any place from the hotel to other destinations/attractions. Beach is just amazing!!! White sand, palm trees everywhere-we fell in love with it💕 there were sometimes seaweed in the sea, but it didn't disturb us enjoy the warm and wavy water. Personal was cleaning beach every day. We were afraid it will smell badly- but there wqsnt any bad smell. Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable for daily living (we lived in premium class room). Living area is close to the beach and pool area. There is amazing "jungle" road to the beach- met cute animals. Personal was very friendly and kind. There were a lot of choice of food during breakfasts and lunch(self service buffet type restaurant). For dinner we mostly liked Italian, also "Terrace" restaurants. There were average quality food in other restaurants, especially in Mexican one. Overall, we are happy for choosing this hotel. Greetings from Lithuania!

Gran hotel inmerso en la naturaleza, personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento. La comida estuvo muy bien, con una excepción. Tienen 7 restaurantes de distintas temáticas, pero el de "comida española" no me gustó....deberían aprender a hacer pulpo a la gallega, unas croquetas o una tortilla de patatas. Seguro que lo pueden mejorar 💪

Amazing all-inclusive resort. Located right in the jungle, far from noisy Cancun, but with access to a stunning beach. Food options are quite good, but don't get deceived by some "more premium" restaurants. It may be just better to go to La Palapa for the buffet, where you have a huge choice of fresh fruit and other specialities.

Everything as expected! Great service, so attentive to you from reception to the beach. Someone is always there to check in on you. The pool area was always fun, had music sometimes and fun adult games. Great vibe overall. Reviews for food were great but realistically the food was pretty bland or as expected from an all-inclusive. Good but very basic. Still worth the privileged package since not much is included outside of that. Tacos and fajitas at the buffet were the best. Plus 24hr room service was great for late night snacks and morning coffee! Also smoothies right on the beach is a must!! Beach set up was very nice! Large area and with all the seaweed everywhere in Mexico right now it was nice to walk a little to have a clear swim or sometimes right in front of the resort. Definitely would recommend

Hotel superou as expectativas, limpeza, ambiente, lazer…mas o destaque está no atendimento, em especial ao Carlos do Restaurante Bloved, nota 10 com estrelinhas.

Buen hotel pero con cosas que mejorar siendo un 5*. El entorno precioso y bien cuidado , los empleados muy atentos y lo mejor del hotel, las habitaciones muy limpias . A mejorar el servicio de toallas en la piscina , ( no existe ), A los clientes que ponen música a todo volumen en la playa o piscina nadie les dice nada , intolerable que se permita.No hay habitación de cortesía para salidas tardías, la opción de ducha hay que solicitarla como un favor. En el desayuno no hay tostadora de pan y desde luego si alguien quiere una tostada con aceite, no hay aceite . El Buffy de la comida muy repetitivo de pescado atún o mero , todos los días . Vamos defectos fáciles de corregir , así lo espero … En todo caso hotel recomendable

Not as good of a trip as we expected, but still nice. The grounds are beautiful, loved the jungle feel. Service is average, definitely expected better. Food at restaurants is mediocre, very bland, couldn’t find anything decent to eat. Room service is terrible; cold food, tasteless food, slow service, little variety. We paid for Privilege Deluxe room, the room we were given did not match the photos on the hotel website. We brought this up to the front desk and we were told what we’re paying for with the Privilege Deluxe is extra service, not the room. Rooms are small, drab, and don’t have the feeling of a luxury resort what so ever. Really hated that beach towels are not available at the pool or beach. If you have a wet towel you have to go back to your room and call housekeeping to ask for a replacement. Seems ridiculous. Overall, the resort is not up to the standard we are used to in the area and we won’t be back.

The hotel was fantastic overall. The rooms were nice and accommodating. The pool area was very nice and big. The dinner show they have Rauxa was incredible as well. Where they fall a little short is the food was decent not the best. Sometimes cold food was served to us. Once it was hot it was good. The customer service was top notch because they would remake our food at our request. I think during the day the music in the pool area should be much bigger and louder. I also think many of the visitors were looking for a place to get dressed up, go eat, and then go party. So I think the hotel could use a dance hall. They do have events at night but they are not well communicated. The staff tries to drum up excitement for it but they best referrals come from those who have attended the events. Overall the 4/5 rating is very good. I would recommend to friends and family.

Este lugar me descepcionó profundamente. Las instalaciones son antiguas y sin el mantenimiento adecuado, la comida aunque es suficiente en cantidad y variedadno es decalidad, en las bebidas sucede lo mismo tienen de todo pero siempre y cuando sea con jugo artificial. Las habitaciones y la piscina también se ven algo viejas. Y no tuvieron el cuidado de remover las montañas de sargazo en la playa al menos para el fin de semana.En general el personal es atento y amable aunque si esperas tener un trago siempre en la mano y un servicio excelente no va a suceder. La entrada también parece de motel barato. Hotel de 4 estrellas.

I've been to better resorts. Great ambiance.Not much entertainment.Could be due to covid. Great food. I love the animals on the resort. Cute place....just not what I was expecting.

Out of three rooms booked, only one had working air conditioning on arrival. The third room had no water or beverages or snacks of any kind so we had to order through room service. The check in was passable, but not especially welcoming for an allegedly 5 star resort. One positive is that the front desk did order drinks for us from the bar while we finished check in. The porter did not have access to our rooms to deliver the bags. We ate at the beloved bar, but the food came out randomly, and one plate at a time. One plate of food came after everyone else and finished eating and drinking, and it was only brought out after we asked where it was. Not the service that we expected so far. The food was 50/50. Nothing spectacular but nothing horrible. We will see how the rest of the stay goes and will update the review.

A praia e os jardins são lindos. O quarto um pouco escuro e cheiro de umidade, porém espaçoso e limpo. Funcionários atenciosos, exceto pelo fato de que fiz um pedido de room service pelo app do resort e a comida nunca chegou. O bartender do swim up bar sabe preparar boas margaritas. Já os outros, trazem vinho branco com gelo quando o pedido foi por espumante, o mojito era puro gelo e nada mais. Muita demora em trazer os drinks mesmo com o hotel com capacidade reduzida de hóspedes. Sendo priviledged senti que os bartenders raramente passavam na área designada na praia. No restaurante Beloved, pedi o prato Nórdico que deveria possuir salmão defumado para o café da manhã e após uma longa espera, para meu espanto haviam colocado presunto no lugar de salmão. Caso não haja disponibilidade de insumos, informe aos hóspedes e não tente engana- los. A comida nos restaurantes era boa, principalmente no Grill. A internet era muito rápida e pegava até mesmo na praia. Resort próximo à varios cenotes, à area turística de Tulum bem como Playa Del Carmen.

Praia excelente. Restaurante Be Loved bem localizado, aberto e quase na areia é um ponto positivo. Quarto bom. Comida razoável. Vinho e espumante ruins. Academia abre tarde, somente às 8h. Deveria abrir mais cedo, às 7h. Pelo custo benefício e principalmente pela praia, voltaria.

Excelente, praia linda e reservada, piscina, se não estiver hospedado no Hotel pode pagar o Day Use com tudo incluso, comida e bebida à vontade, recomendo, muito bom mesmo.
